I was all excited for a second... We've seen these before, and though the CGI is cool, they aren't, to my knowledge, theatrical movie posters.
I had seen two of them before, but I hadn't seen the one with Ravage, Skids, etc. Sorry if it's been shown before.
those are all "montage" in photoshop of actual style guide of transformers brands taken from a little book sent from hasbro to clothes, blankets, and such companies, and that is what the graphic artist came out with different elements taken from the book. In those style guides , you also finds, the packaging instructions for the toys and such. Liscenced products, yes, not necessarly approved to sell
Guys...I think it is supposed to be a star...you know, maybe a screaming one. Don't need to look any further at it than that.
Starscream, to me, looks a lot leaner in this movie. More bi-pedal like, instead of bird-with-huge-wing-chest...like. What do you think? Looks like they might have trimmed some fat off his CGI model. I could be wrong, I normally am.
It looks like they are making the same mistake they made last time by not including all characters. No Sideways, no Jetfire, no Jolt, no Chromia, no Arcee, no Individual Constructicons.... Had they made some Bonecrusher/Brawl posters for movie one, I'd have long forgotten to color of my walls.
Yeah these don't look like Posters they would circulate in Theaters, more like Montage Posters they use in places like Wal-Mart and K-Mart, to ganer the attention of doe-eyed little boys and girls everwhere who happened to have watched Transformers. Far as I know, ROTF only has one Poster out and that's the shadowy one of the Fallen and his glowing red eyes. That aside, the final Autobot poster reminds me alot of Beast Wars.
