Sweet. The G.I. Joe one sounds good enough but if we were to get a TF themed one it would be great. Hell, if it's even half as good as the movie it would rocket up my list of TF fictions.

Yeah this really got me excited. Im also glad toys are in the works. I wil actually buy the GI.Joe toys if they look good, and it will support a more chance of Transformers happening. Cant wait to see if Transformers actually happens, and when or if it dose cant wait to see the toys. I just hope Transformers wil be 20 min long instead of 5.

Ah, I thought we'd see something like this given the movies almost ridiculous success. Fingers crossed for a well written show and not one just using violence/swearing to declare itself mature.

As for possible toys, that could yield all sorts of interesting results. Designer Transformers perhaps or maybe comic styled ones with lots of detailing like Mcfarlane figures are famous for.

I'm hoping for is they can balance Animated, Universe, the Movie, and this series throughout now all the way to 2010+. I would love a Transformers webisode series, but I'd wait for several more years. After the new movie and possibly a third comes out.

I think it would be cool if they used this for the "Universe 2.0" figures

I agree. The Decepticons and Autobous should have a 5-8 core cast. The less characters the more detail that could go into each toy. I would love if the detail was McFarlane esc, due to he makes some of the most detailed toys around. I would also like to see very good hard transformations. If this is for the adults, the could make the lowest price point a 20 dollar figure. The range could be from 20-40 dollars to get large detailed toys. I also say GUNS GALORE. Givem badass guns.(*JOKE HERE* For the 40 dollar ones give em frases like FUCK YOU*ENDS HERE*). 2009 look to be a very good year for transformers. I just hope we get awsomly detailed toys at a reasonable price point avalibale at stores, becuase yeah I dont like to get stuff off the internet. I dont want it to be the classic 2.0 toy tie in. Those toys are ok but lack the detail I desire and yeah its just a toy line its a terrible idea to make classic 2.0 a cartoon. To tell you the truth I hope megatron kills a human ROFL!

Seconded---gimmicks (especially ones with electronics or springs) only ever "compromise" the figure---either by having a big non-transforming non-articulated "chunk" in it (see Ultimate BB) or by simply making things loose/weird/wonky (Barricade's arm/fist).

If it's adult-themed, the toys will NOT need ANY gimmick to sell themselves other than transforming.

Actually, I wouldn't mind some nifty light up features. (lights rarely compromise a figure themselves, plus they can be cool sometimes)

I agree. I dont mind spring loaded missile launchers, why becuase they are guns SEPERATE from the toy. LOL, I always though transfomation should be the gimmick. Those punch gimmicks ala barricade just screw over a figure. The only thing lightup I like on a figure is light piping.

I would only really want a G1 S3 type show if it must be more "adult". Ugly looking aliens, creepy zombie stories, burnt out worlds, and the cold unforgiving depths of space.

I would like the Transformer series to be for universe/classics as well. It needs a media to help shove it along.
