That was actually a "deluxe cybertronian two pack" the front page reported it wrong.

Most likely a couple of deluxes in "cybertronian modes". Given what we know about the movie I'm going to guess prime and Megatron.

Basically, like Roadbuster and Lockdown, Same transformation and parts, but those are different parts.

Don't forget, Nitro has some kind of tail fin and he has missiles on his back.

If that. I see proportional similarities, but nothing more. Not sure why everyone's crying "retool".

I think Nitro has a deluxe Scorn transformation, maybe not a retool, but it could be.

I guess it's the similarity with DOTM Shockwave. In fact, that's the first figure which came to my mind when I saw this image of Nitro. Initial thought was a retool, but I can see there is more to it than that.

And the delixe set cost $40. So unless they hike those prices again it's not your standard deluxe, definetly a 2-pack

I don't see anything that looks to be based on Shockwave toy wise. Maybe the detailing and proportions look kinda similar, but the toy design itself looks to be completely different.

Actually, the main line does consist mostly of new molds.

"Mission To Cybertron" is definitely a subline and most probably TRU exclusive too. The boxart is different than the main line and mimics the Glyph Decoder art. This isn't the fist time such a line existed. TRU did the same with DOTM where it was called "Mission Earth" and also had new box art. Very much like this it had it's own gimmick, consisted of repaints/retools. But unlike this it was a small line.

You think we're getting 6 to 8 leader class figures?

I mean, we only really know for sure that there's a deluxe wave and a legion scale combiner set. That's well within the range of an exclusive.

Even if Nitro is A) part of the line and not just a crossell and B) A voyager, not a deluxe,

That's still in line with the size of, say, the Predacons Rising Target exclusives.

Calling these "glyph" toys a likely exclusive line is still a pretty safe bet.

No, Hasbro would make a 4th leader figure at the max. They would probably do something stupid like Bumblebee etc.

Wouldn't be the first time, either - the infamous DOTM Deluxe Wave 4 was basically three repaints of movie bumblebee (Concept), Jazz, and Arcee with cybertronian style lettering on them. Oh, and the Space Case shortpacked retool which was the entire reason the wave was Target exclusive.

I wouldn't be surprised if a 4th leader was a Grimlock repaint/retool. Though a totally new version of him would be great.

That wasn't the "fourth wave" in any meaningful sense. It was just a separate, Target-exclusive assortment of Deluxes.
