um, the LOCs were ONLY in cybertron. THESE are the repaints.

 

Maybe he means that some of them already received repaints once within the Cybertron line? Although.... I think that only applies to Hot Shot and Optimus, right? Those are the only ones of this batch who had two separate versions in Cybertron? Hot Shot came in both color schemes, and I think 've seen images of an Optimus with lots of yellow paint apps on him (versus the black and red one, which is the one I have).

 

LOCs already repainted:

Optimus Prime to Optimus Prime (Galaxy Force version, black limbs and planet symbols)
Hot Shot to Hot Shot (Excellion colors)
Starscream to Sunstorm, Ramjet (Botcon exclusive), and Skywarp (San Diego Comi-Con exclusive)
Megatron to Galvatron

Right now, the only molds getting a triple-dip by Hasbro is Prime and Hot Shot, for Menasor and Bumblebee in the Classics line. Why molds that weren't repainted yet got passed up, I don't know.
