G4 got some exclusive Metroplex gameplay. (And it looks like pink is a color you can use for multiplayer customization ) Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron E3 Gameplay Demo Videos - G4tv.com Metroplex's transforming sequence is almost identical to the cinematic trailer and it looks like there's a lot of driving in this part of the level.
Watching Metroplex going into action after you activate him is so awesome. Very similar to Omega Supreme stalking you in the background during WfC's Decepticon campaign.
Perceptor is talking in the background right before Metroplex asks what are his orders. He's the guy talking when the gameplay begins as well. Looks very solid, but I still think the vehicles look too much like a "fast mode." It's "here is the vehicle part, here is the driving part" design, even if you can freely switch between them. I hope to see more integrated and smart use of vehicles.
Loved this...it looks like so much fun. and I also giggled when he mentioned the colors people seem to pick..."Pink, or Christmas Tree colors". Ha!
I'm glad I only watched the E3 trailer once. Metroplex's transformation was just as amazing as the first time I watched it. But the part that makes that good is because it was the only thing that wowed me. Not to say I hated the clip. In fact, I think it looked really fun. But it wasn't really any different from the first gameplay clip with Bumblebee. Although, I hope transforming is as useful as they make it out to be. Because in WFC, it wasn't really anything other than a vehicle. That's one reason why I really wish I could get ROTF. That made good use of transforming.
I dont think the transforming in rotf was any different than it is in wfc.. in fact I hated that you had to hold down the trigger to stay in your vehicle mode, which forced you to accelerate. At least in wfc/foc you have the option to strafe while shooting in your vehicle mode.
I completely hated that hold button to transform :/ they made transforming like sum lil perk you can to go faster. I like the previous movie game though Lol
