Holy mother of God that thing is DETAILED!!!!

It's like they are going for an almost Alternator type level of detail, like a model F-15 that turns into a robot!

    That is one detailed Mo-Fo!!!

Im going to go out on a limb here. Im assuming they are adding so much detail to the alt mose because the robot mode will be simple to transform.

All in all I CANT WAIT.

With rumbl eand now this..the decepticons are getting the publicity they deserve.

    Thanx

You can really see Kawamori's involvement through and through, the opening nose cone in particular is a dead giveaway.
Looking very impressive, the transformation doesn't look much more difficult then the original screamer but then the beauty of a toy like this is in it's details.

I'd not want the transformation to be much different from the original though - part of the charm of the G1 F-15 mold.

Now, can anyone translate the writing? :)

You might be onto something there. Then again the original Prime was a relatively easy transformation and look at what they did for the masterpiece version.

That is plain incredible. I sure hope it translates as well into vehicle mode.

Woo, right after I reply in the other thread I get to breathe a quick breath of relief!

Looks good so far...I -was- hoping to see some of the pointless-cool fiddlybit features that are on there, hehe.

This is what I'm hoping for. :D  Not losing the simplicity of the actual transformation, just making it more neato.

That was mostly just to get the front wheels out of the way without simply removing them. Starscream's original look doesn't have anything nearly as complicated to achieve as that, it just needs tidying up and tweaking to make an awesome toy.

Hopefully it wont suffer from what G1 and RM starscream had, the Jet nosecone and cockpit area hanging off of the back of the head.

I just hope they don't take too long after his release to put out the other seekers. :D

(and a clear version of him for the ghost.)

Freaking sweet, and you can definately tell that it's from the same designer who did the Macross mechs. Now let's just hope it won't cost as much as it's 1/48 'brothers'.:redface2:

random prediction: will be mostly plastic in the US as a new-price-point Alternator. (i'd guess $40/$50 usd)

    and, uh. wow.

(saving massive slobberage until we see how good the bot-mode is, but i ahve my expectations set bib-worthy high)

    man, what a weekend!

I won't mind if the Transformation is not the most complicated thing ever. Its the final look of him is the most important thing.

The only thing that seems weird is the nose coming off. Why is it necessary? Hopefully it won't get loose after some use and sag off the toy. Maybe they can have it screw on/off instead of just popping off.

Looks good. If this is from Figure Oh! then there should be more pics coming this week given that it was Dengeki Hobby that last month had mention of an MP-03 scoop.

I can't wait to see something other than the design blueprints!

    Steve.
