You know these would work so much better if the Kreons folded up into Heads for the bigger robots. Kreo Headmasters!

Hound looks pretty cool. If he's in a set in the same size class as the Jazz and Mirage sets, I'll probably get him. If nothing else just to go with the rather small Jeep collection I have.

Does that mean we could be seeing pictures of that Voyager Ironhide repaint?

It's kind of amazing that after blockbuster movies and a new series intended to be the "master continuity", they still default to G1.

They are selling the little Op hand outs for $35.00 thats sad. I have mine on the shelf already. I liked talking to the host there. He stated that they were non transformable because hell thats whats transformers are for. This is a build and rebuild with the same parts. Great concept. The Megatron Mac Truck was really quite cool and I may just pick up his big version. I also liked all the little ones and think the kids will like them too.

Well now that I finally know what a Kre-O/Kreons is, these are totally awesome! Me and my daughter spend a lot of time building Legos anyway, so this is a no brainer. :D

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that first official Hasbro branded blue Bluestreak that's an actual figure (I'm not counting the puzzle from G1 days...)

Not really. By the nature of being building toys they are going to be blocky and boxy like G1 designs. And they're only really using G1 heads. The bodies are movie or Prime inspired.

    1. Buy all the sets.
    2. Buy all the sets, then be a douche and remove the Kreons and take the set back.

Well there is the speedstars car. Calling that a figure is quite a stretch though.

I just can't believe how insanely awesome these things are. Would have loved these sets as a kid - and I'm sure there are still alot of fans out there who enjoy both Lego and Transformers...win!

I'm probably tempted to get at least one set eventually :)

I'm mostly tempted by Sentinel just because it has the nice red that I wish the leader had.

My wife is not going to be happy because there is no way she can begrudge me for getting all of these. Must spend as much money on selfish, material things before new baby arrives!

It looks like I'm going to have to make a wish list of Kreons I want (for my LEGO-verse!)

    • Optimus Prime
    • Spike (Will consider holding a toy store hostage if a FM version is made)
    • Cerebros (see above)
    • Jazz
    • Ironhide
    • Megatron & Shockwave (they look so great!)
    • Soundwave
    • Rumble (or Frenzy)
    • Eject (to announce sporting events) &/or Rewind (should I ever build a library or museum)
    • Blaster
    • Smokescreen
    • Wheeljack
    • Mirage (I need racing drivers)
    • Auggie Cahnay (same reason, but a custom Lego minifig could serve the same purpose)
    • Red Alert & Inferno (wouldn't you want these 2 in your fire house?)
    • Hot Spot (he'd be my HAZMAT or other special unit fire fighter)
    • Hoist
    • Ratchet (these two will join "Cooter" at the garage)
    • Sparkplug (see above)
    • Drag Strip, Dead End, Breakdown, & Wildrider (someone has to populate Lego jail) :lol
    • Starscream (he's the only seeker in a G1-accurate color scheme)
    • Reflector (or at the very least, "Viewfinder")

There's also the blue Silverstreak Spychanger from 2003-ish. There were better choice for this mold, but I have it nonetheless.
