    Wow. That is really, really good. Totally looks like a pistol...even has a small sight on the end.

    I have not tried casting in colors yet I'm still learning this is only my second cast part. I figured I would just spray paint them silver

    yo bro about color casting
    u can either spray the mold , the resin ,once poured will adhere to the paint and u'll receive a color cast , but take in mind the the flash or any sanding will reveal the original color of the cast.
    Or u can go to your local home depot etc ,and buy some pigment paint for concrete or any other powdered pigment, they work amazing with anything .
    just mix them well

    the hand gun looks awesome bro.

    and thanks for the tip d i may try it out to see what happens

    also have you ever messed with the dye's they sell at hobby shops? i saw those next to the resin materials and thought about picking some up jsut to try it but didnt know

    That looks incredible - and only your second casting? I'm seriously impressed, with both the cast and the original design.
    Regarding colours, while I've only got limited experience of casting myself, I've actually found, at least while using resin, that even a little acrylic paint can work well.

    its a combination of old parts and styrene

    I would love to see a couple pics of your original piece. I have been using styrene a tone lately and would love to see other peoples use of it.

    ill post up some pics of that later on but do a search of my username in radicons and you will see some of my other work, and i did a tutorial not long ago on scratch building that SQ7 put up for me
