I'd rather a proper single player sequel myself over another timesink.

 

I wonder if it will be on consoles as well as PCs....

 

Oh please oh please be true. SWG before they changed it for the worst was really fun, but then they ruined it and even after losing tons of subscribers they just stuck with the changes. A KOTOR MMO would definitely make me can my WoW account and keep me away from Warhammer Online.

 

I'm one of the 20,000 losers that's still active in SWG. I'm hoping this is true so I can finally ditch it for a proper Star Wars MMO.

I had resubscribed to SWG for a couple of months in the spring/summer this year. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, but it's hard to let go of my character I created at launch (after being in Beta 3) and doing the grind to unlock Jedi.

Anyways, when I had resubbed this year, it was actually pretty fun,. At 90 I could handle most of the harder stuff solo (which worked because of my odd play times at the time). Then came chapter 6 or publish 6 or whatever they called it that brought back something similar to the old creature handler profession, but at the same time nerfed solo play, and I had to find a group to do anything. So I cancelled again.

In my heyday I had 3 SWG subscriptions going at once, so I could have 4 characters on Bria (1 per account plus the extra slot after unlocking Jedi)

I do so miss pre-NGE SWG. I even enjoyed the CU for what it was.

 

I'm from Bria myself. Been there since the beginning. Still there, sad to see the server a shadow of what it once was.

 

What's the name of your longtime character on Bria? If you don't mind me asking.

Ahh. My main (Jedi...pre-NGE Jedi) is a Trandoshan named Arkonni. Though he's been on ice since LOTRO.

 

I just hope this leads to a proper single-player KOTOR 3.

 

KOTOR3? Yes please! MMO? Hell no!

 

MMO? Oh HELL no, I'll be VERY pissed off if that turns out to be true.

On this I'm torn. On some levels, I'd love to see another Star Wars MMO, but I'd also love to see another KotOR single player game. I too am a Galaxies castaway, having played from launch day, until the NGE, on Starsider.
