Yup. They are Cyber Slammers with more moving parts that ditch the half-assed "bot-mode" that they tried to pull off.

Automatic pass unless my M.A.S.K. nostalgia kicks into overdrive, which it probably won't do since they don't have figures with masks included.

I'm digging the battle blade bumblebee. Nice deluxe revision, two hands, a canon, and an axe. PERFECTO!

Seems like the only things that look promising to me are Leader Starscream and Battle Ops Bumblebee.

    Oh well.

Heh... it sounds more negative than it is... I was trying to be more ambivalent! :lol

I'll say right off that RPMs (and likely Stealth Force) might as well be a totally different toy franchise... they are almost literally invisible to me when I go shopping. I just can't care about them. But the echoes of MASK do remind me of how kids might still be impressed. There was a time when I didn't NEED all my toys to turn into robots, but I've become more focused over the years. :)

The Prime Knife looks cool... in a sort of violent, Space-Rambo sort of way. Heh. C'mon... how could I not take a stab at the old "I want your face!" gag? :D

Yeah, it seems that they basically just wanted to do FABs, but at a smaller price point. I can see the appeal there, since every time I've been to the toy department in the last year or so, there's been some parent there utterly perplexed as to the difference between FABs and Deluxes. I always have to point out that one has an easier transformation that their kids MIGHT be able to figure out, while the Deluxes quite possibly will never be transformed properly, and will probably be in tiny pieces within the week...

Exactly my point. I don't think it's because kids don't like transforming toys... it's just that contemporary Transformers have gotten so complex now compared to the old G1 versions, that the average kid just doesn't have the patience for them. I like the new innovations in design and engineering, but I'm amazed that they would be doing well with children under 10.

You could always stick some thimbles on Human Alliance figures... they're pretty much the right size. ;)

Can someone please explain to me what that Optimus Prime toy is suppose to be??? Is it suppose to show the effect of transformation or something???

Pretty interesting. Though the only figure on that list that interests me is LC Starscream.

After I get HA Barricade and BB, I'll get him, then that will be my collecting done for the foreseeable future, until TF3 comes out, and hopefully with a DECENT LC Megs (since I don't have megs in my collection, At all.) or maybe Grindor if i can get hold of him from Amazon.

Spring 2010 for LC Starscream? That'll be the US release, which means we won't see him in the UK and rest of Europe until late summer, early autumn/christmas. I'm still wondering how Peaugh got his hands on that early prototype. He must work for hasbro.

Hasbro is making larger RPM toys that have flip out weapons. Optimus Prime converts from truck to weird, broken truck with dangling action panels and non-firing guns...

Uh, they show a picture of a new Megatron right there in the press release.

The new Stealth Force line features vehicles that have all sorts of hidden weapons. It's a new line of super-heavily-armed vehicles, with electronics and sound.

As long as Spring is accurate for Leader Screamer's release, I'm satisfied. Once I get him everything else is icing for the remainder of the year.
