Hasbro announced that they are interested in making a few more at BotCon, but they are a little worried about how to release them. Many kids don't know what a cassette is, and even if they did, it's a little rectangle, a bit of a boring alt-mode. If we do see more, they'll be packed with bigger Transformers if the budget can handle it.

How about an Ipod Transformer since that's the current media player. Rather than an ancient old device like the cassette.

I was thinking of this too, and Soundwave and Blaster could be iPod docks.

Could you make a robot out of a compact disc? CD player version of Soundwave with CD minions?

    1. I don't buy it that kids don't know what a cassette is. Also, you can still go out and buy microcassette recorders. I would take nothing less of a Soundwave toy in a line which is aimed at collectors and long-time fans anyway. Kids have bought enough damn Bumblebees to fund a low selling mold such as Soundwave, which has a clear redeco in Soundblaster.

    2. "It's a little rectangle, a bit of a boring alt-mode." *Ahem* Kids absolutely EAT UP Bakugan.

seen a bird cd thing, it was pretty cool looking, but i would personally rather have the unused AHM soundwave design, that was awesome

When I heard about the G1 legends my first thought was legends cassettes. I'd really like an Eject.
