Is he going to show their correctly transformed alt modes soon? Glad to see they actually do have hands.

 

No idea on the alt modes, but yeah, the individual hands are a relief

 

They still don't scream TF Animated to me. They look like another line entirely  

 

I think Safeguard looks slightly out of place, but Jetfire and Jetstorm look like they'll fit right in.

i really like the idea, not really much for the combiner mode, but the robot modes are really nice in my opinion, very unique too. very humanish though.

but fits animated well in my opinion.

it would of been better if they were voyagers probably, but, deluxe works just fine to me.

 

I'm really digging these guys now.

 

Reminds me of the hands on a lot of the old G1 combiners - basically a hand pattern sculpted into the inside of some vehicle part. Nice to see they made the effort though.

I think I like the individuals more than the combined form. I guess it's the nature of the combining scheme, but Safeguard doesn't really look much bigger than either of the two robots that make him up.

I actually think Safeguard look more "animated",
Mainly because of his upper body proportions.

I wish Jetstorm's visor was a light blue.

I don't get the "they don't look like they're from Animated" line that's going around the websites right now. You can't honestly line those two up (combined or separate) with the rest of the toys and say they don't fit in, they do.

I see the hate & dislike, but once the figures are available for purchase, and their comic book and cartoon counterparts show up for view, I expect that vibe to change dramatically. Just going by the trends.

Myself, I dig the set highly, mostly because of the combined form.

 

You know, when they said those 2 had individual hands, I wasn't expecting Armada-Smokescreen style finger detailing. I was expecting.... HANDS!


Still probably picking them up though.

I have a feeling that these will be to animated what the Dinobots were in Energon, with the exception of being better.

Probally display them in bot modes. Not all combiners deserve being displayed combined, for instance every single version of Superion, at least in my oppinion sucks, but the individual guys are cool. (well with the exception of Universe Superion which is actually Six-wing who absolutely rocks, but again that is just my oppinion.)

I want more pictures of their combined Jet mode, that is what I am really interested in.

That and we must get these guys as Cons for Darkwing and Dreadwind, or Buster and Hydra (in my dreams.)

Glad to see the hands, not much but it really makes a difference. I'll definitely pick this up.

 

Ugly is still ugly no matter whos taking the pictures. Still a no go for me.

 

I think a lot of the problems that people are having with the style are because we haven't seen these guys in action yet. Jetfire/Jetstorm/Safeguard and Waspinator (wasp mode, that is) are, as I recall, the only figures that we've seen in toy form before seeing them in animation. These jet twins are also getting a more negative reaction than I've seen most Animated toys get. I don't think that's a coincidence.

 

cool nice to see their hands I'm gonna get to make jetfire or jetstorm for my animated computron.

 

i for one am seriously liking the figs and i do think they fit in animated cant wait to see them in action.
