This is the best Transformers art I've seen since the 'All Are Dead' Shockwave cover. Graffiti Shockwave will always be a winner, though.

I wonder what's up with the Prime head on a spike. I thought the Autobots left earth at the end of Devestation.

The design for Megatron is a bit different. Does he transform into an American pistol now?

Reminds me a great deal of some Warhjammer 40k art I saw once.

This is much more cool though, I second the need for a poster, a big size A1 please. :D

    Awesome! Its actually....art.

Also makes me wonder why they didn't allow this kind of stuff for the cover contest.

I have to say (as a Megatron fan) that this Cover Art looks very nice and it would be cool as a poster.

Go Megatron, Rule The Earth! [he could after all.]

Who did the colors on the image?
They really make it stand out.

    I like it.

I thought this was meant to be a world where there were never any autobots.
Or did I just read something wrong?

I think its a world where the Autobots were defeated back on Cybertron. It's nice to finally see Megs triumphant, it's been a long time coming, and the guy deserves to be on the winning side for once.

:: dies :: omg... something... u like.....? in spite of the look on his face that gives the impression he just let loose an SBD, i can see why you like this megatron.... but.... i'm just shocked... usually it's "i hate this. it's not AEC, and it's not G1 so i hate this." of course i'm generalizing... but it's just nice to see you happy for once. still.... if you haven't already you should see Animated Earth Mode Megatron.. he IS pretty sweet. definately a G1 homage, and a nice reference to super megatron has been made.

i'm really looking forward to this series...i think its gonna be sweet...and i still dont know if it takes place after devastation or is its own seperate thing...

    Spoilers:
if it is after devastation, maybe prime sends a decoy that megs kills, therefore megs thinks he's won...or the cover has nothing to do with the interior...
