Uh...my ybrother got one in may for about $240. I'll have to see if I can get a hold of him to get the auction. It's not like here is a shortage of graded Kup's out there. There are 25 that are graded...that's quite a bit. I know I saw one that was graded a 75 go for less than $200. It's Kup for crying out loud. I swear I see more MISB Kup's than any other G1 TF.

now that i think about it, afa things have been selling more, and your right moonstreaker, the movie may have something to do with this. but not on the kup price, it went for what i expected it to go for. your brother got a good deal.

If you are "condition sensitive", the difference in an AFA-75, and an AFA-85 is HUGE!
These prices are ballpark, but you get the picture:
    AFA-75 Pre-rub Starscream=$900.00
    AFA-85 Pre-rub Starscream=Over $2000.00

US, Canada, and UK cars/jets, yes. But you can get AFA-graded Italian and Japanese cars/jets for not much more than that when they pop up.

The whole scale going from incomplete, to loose complete, to opened box, to sealed box is pretty much exponential. If someone put up a AFA 95 sealed toy I think we'd be shocked at the price it fetched...

All this almost tempts me to grade & sell some of my sealed G1 toys... Almost, but not quite....

Yep, they have a database. If you register on their site you can access it and it will show you how many figures received what grade.
