How much do you spend on Transformers in a year on average. 2007 was my first year collecting and i spent $630 (not counting all tax). It seems like a lot but i only got a couple figures out of it. My biggest purchase was
    20th prime.

Excluding Takara-Tomy TFs, I used to spend roughly $2000/year on Hasbro TFs.

Lately, I stopped buying recolors and even trimmed down my collection. Nowadays, it's probably close to $1000/year, including Japanese imports.

Eh, depending on how many I get each year, I'd say between $150 and $200. Not much compared to other collectors, but I don't plan on getting a huge collection, just one made up of the figures I like.

I used to spend a ton. Never did the math, but knew it was too much. I cut way back. I've picked back up lately, but most of what I've spent was earned by selling off less desirable pieces of my collection.

Ohh Jeez...With being a Former Animated Plastic Crack Addict. I collected everything Animated up untill Shockwave. Now I am done for this year. Not to mention all the Universe/Classics 2.0 I have collected as well. I'd say $1500.00 for Animated $800.00 for Classics/Universe. $2300.00 for this year so far. I have Animated Swindle and Blurr Pre-Orderd $45.00 Express Shipping. But after going through Hurricane Ike and all the damage that happened to my House all Spending on TFs has come to halt untill sometime next year.

I usually spent maybe $300-500 a year on Transformers, though this year and the next are going to be very rough on the wallet.

A year and a half has probably been $2500-3000, no ideas on exactly figures. Might be an overestimate.

Oooh. Geez. That's a tough one. From summer 2007 to summer 2008 (not counting this fall...) I'd say easily a grand, but definitely spread out.

I don't know how much I normally spend though.

"Screaming into the night if I seriously added it all up" money.

filled out one of the Hasbro surveys at a past Botcon, and tried to add up in my head roughly how much I spent on toys in a year. It was a "holy crap, really?" moment, to be sure.

Should I count Transformers-related purchases as well, like Botcon? I'd say roughly $1500, then. (Airfare/hotel not included).

Easy. Around 35 bucks on 3 TFs (considering the fact that the TF: Animated Battle Begins 2-pack was well worth the 25 bucks I spent) this year. That's about it and I intend to keep it that way.

All I know is that 2008 & 2009 will easily end up being the most I've spent on TF to date. Between the TF1 Movie, Classics & Unverse, Animated, Masterpieces, convention exclusives, Robot Heroes, Encores, extras & add-ons like the City Commander set, select Henkei versions of certain figures, etc. it's *almost* more than I can keep up with. And that's not even counting the waves of TF2 toys on the horizon.

    A new golden age, indeed.

I usually would spend anything from $200 to 300 per year on Transformers. I'm selling off most of my collection at the moment, so I find myself spending almost nothing at all on Transformers.
