I bought a barricade today, everything was going great until i went to put the tabs of the waist into the chest and the tabs were way to big. or the holes were to little, any ways I found my self shaving away plastic to make it fit. anybody else have this problem?

    Ebay:
His waist is supposed to be at a slant. No need to shave.

No it isn't. Why should all things be at a 90 degrees angle??

You didn't have to shave of the plastic. It is supposed to be that way.

well, my barricade no longer slants. I think it looks pretty cool, and its more stable. owell, the tabs fit now. he's also able to slant too.

Ironhide is supposed to do that too. I can understand why you'd want him to stand up straight...I'd want him to stand up straight too. But Ironhide's little "chest-waist connector thingie" is so thin, it's probably unwise to shave it.

I don't own a Barricade, though, so I don't know how fragile the connector piece is.

I've gotta agree with you. Took me several minutes to realize it was designed that way, and not just a mistake. I've got no problem with the idea of the slant design, but there should be some indication, somewhere, that it's supposed to slant on the mold, instead of just, "insert peg into hole shaped appropriately for peg and just let it sit there, kinda half-in/half-out, and ready to fall open without warning." I'm thinking I may install some heavy duty magnets in him to keep him together at the waist when I don't want his legs falling down every time I pick him up by the chest.

Wow, I remember when I got my classics BB and Rodimus and I complained here about their loose hip joints and bad paint aps out of the package. Knock on wood, but every movie figure I bought so far is perfect in terms of QC. *Knock on wood again*

My Barricade has no problems with his punch gimick and when I pick him up every time by his chest his legs and hips stay rock solid with the chest, they don't flop down or anything. Apart from his rather loose-ish ankle joints that every Barricade so far has had, mine's perfect. The same goes for Wreckage and BB. My BB has absolutely no problem with his automorph features. *Knock on wood again*

And let's talk about those Ankles. Why a ball joint where you can't move them anyway? At least, not in any meaningful way.

I love Barricade as a character. The toy, on the other hand, could use a lot of work.

Meh, I'll be keeping mine at a slant. The chest area at 90 degrees just makes him look a little blocky.

I thought the same thing first time I transformed him.
    I thought, "QC issue?"

Then his thumb fell off, because the rivet that is supposed to be holding his thumb in, isnt there, some asshat at the assembly area decided he was fine without it.
