I'm having trouble with ordering the next wave of MP Megatron. Some places don't mention if they have modified ro unmodified versions. If I end up with the modified version, how difficult is it to undo the modification? My emails regarding this, for example at TFSource, are being ignored. Any help?

I hear the cap is pretty easy to pull out. At least on the BBTS version.

You probably won't get a response from a vendor about this because the mod isn't supposed to be removed because of toy gun regulations.

the "modified" version has just a yellow or orange easy removable plug in the barrel.

I thought there was an easily removable plug, but BBTS says that it will be fixed with adhesive, which I don't like the sounds of. When I email places, I don't ask how to unmodify the plug, just if their version will be modified or not. Has the plug always been fixed with adhesive?

It's supposed to be, but mine wasn't when it came from TFsource. Just pulled it right out.

My Encore Megs was plugged with the weakest adhesive I've ever seen; I just poked the plug out with a screwdriver. The worst thing for me is that someone else has opened the toy before me.

I got mine from BBTS, it was fixed wit rubber cement... pulled right out. Although it did come with a sternly written letter advising against removing the orange plug.

I guess I'll just try to order one from anywhere if the plug comes right out. I just don't want any adhesive leaving marks on the figure anywhere.

Dude, go with TFSource. Trust me, it pops right out, no adhesive.
