Hey look, a full thread title that explains what this thread is about right there in the title..Neat.

Anyways, browsing TFs on ebay, I noticed this guy posted a Ruination Bruticus set and had him mistransformed.. we all have seen the stock G1 Bruticus short stumpy less than threatening type pic with the proper transformation, and if you haven't well here one is..

Now I've always done if like that, and when in individual bot modes, I've always had Onslaughts legs fully extended as was designed..but these guys reversed theirs..When in Onslaught mode, legs compacted and then extended in Bruticus mode..

The more I look at this, I kinda like it. Anyone else display theirs like this?

Not bad! The only problem would be how he'd be taller then Superion or Defensor :lol

Actually I just tried this. It just brings Bruticus up to the same height as Superion and Abominus.

This variation does make him about an inch and a half taller than Defensor though.

Rotating Onslaught's wheels around also makes Bruticus look a bit less anorexic as well.

The instructions show him the G1 way with the legs collapsed, but the box back shows him with the legs extended.

I prefer the "stumpy" look. Makes the legs look thicker and more powerful.

    BTW TFPrime...

Where did you find that third picture you posted with Bruticus and Ruination posed together?

I've transformed Ruination like that. He was my first combiner and I messed with him a lot but I tried to still collapse the legs as much as I could with smaller waist. But I've never done the stocky legs with Megaoctane/Onslaught.

i've always transformed bruticus like that as it puts him in proportion with himself. Good to spread the word!

Yep, I do that with Bruticus and Piranaking. It makes them much more flexible and imposing.

I've done a midway from both the photos you've shared before. You can make Bruticus do some kicks as well :)

Eh. His shoulders in the modified transformation look absolutely retarded. Not to mention the chest plate doesnt peg in as securely anymore with the arms pushing it forward rotated down like that.

    Skinny hips look dumb too.

    sticking with the first method.

You can't just go around giving a G1 combiner pose-ability you heathen!!! ;)

I'll stick with the first way, as that's how I've been doing it since I was seven.

The latter. Though I should bust out Predaking and see if anything can be done.
