Thanks to @Cheem The Rup for the video. I'd guess that the other language clips at the end are maybe from the Japanese cartoon voice actor? Just a guess.

Id imagine that the quality will be what you'd expect from a rip from an audio track from a blu ray or whatever from the old cartoon. I would temper explain expectations given the speaker needs to fit in the cannon. I am excited about this but I also don't expect spectacular audio quality.

Who knows if any of the kos will also incorporate some audio clips. With the Mp36 kos being like $85+ vs the $27 price of this audio cannon, even if you are a KO hater, for the extra $60, I'd be tempted to get a full KO figure w soundclip and then just give away the figure if it bothers me...

 

It's hard to hear it clearly but it doesn't sound like Japanese to me. I can't really make out what language it is, to be honest, but I assumed Chinese might make some sense since it'll be coming out of China. I'm not sure though.

 

I'm interested (very interested!) in this add-on, but the video quality didn't do much to sell me on the product.... Give me something a little better, a little clearer, and if it's good, I'll jump in!

Pretty good selection. Probably sounds better off camera. Notice after the first round of clips, he put the speaking back in the scope and then it sounded a ton better.
Finally the fusion cannon sound!
Proper transform sound 2 way.

Chinese voice actor has a cool laugh. (yes, not Japanese,.. if you want Japanese, use the stock scope of the late and great Katou Seizou that came with MP-36 or D-62S Galvatron)

Scope looks pretty awesome too. Might need some for my other MP Megatrons.

Was hoping for the purple LED, but that will be rectified by my own hand.

 

LOOKING FOR COLLECTOR FEEDBACK!  

Modfans has asked www.Showzstore.com @ShowZStore and I (and a couple others) to solicit feedback for which popular voice clip "phrases" collectors would want to be included in this add-on MP36 Megatron Cannon Upgrade Kit.

They are still working out the details but are looking for fan-favorite lines to incorporate into the kit.

Preliminary plans call for some original clips from the blu-ray movie to be incorporated as well as some original or re-dubbed phrases from a voice actor. So sky really is the limit! Please don't hold back. They are looking for all of your favorite phrases - so let the suggestions fly.

Please post here with the tag @rubadubspawn so that Modfans can find your suggestions.

Also - although unconfirmed, they expect the kit to include an LED light and may also potentially include a back cover piece for MP36. I think they are hoping to appeal to both original MP36 owners as well as KO owners. They really are putting some thought into this and looking to please us collectors.
