    I want Cybertron Red Alert to be my modern take of G1 Technobot Scattershot. Is there anyone that could put together a digibash of this pic in Scattershot's colors? It doesn't have to be precise, so long as if fits with the original color scheme.

    Thanks.

    I have been kicking this idea around for awhile...even got the parts. This is my personal take on this matter:

    [IMG]

    Galaxy Force Starscream = Scattershot
    Clocker = Lightspeed
    Ransack = Afterburner
    Skyblast = Strafe
    Signal Flare = Nosecone

    On his other post I suggested these two for Deluxe version.
    Override = Lightspeed
    Sideways = Strafe

    I like this larger one already.

    Well, I may end up going smaller scale by using guys like Swerve, Skyblast, and Ransack to name a few. Just making sure I have a backup plan. I'm even getting a second loose Metroplex for this project. I like the original too much to screw up the only one I have.

    I am planning on turning Energon Slugslinger into Strafe. Feel free to look it over for inspiration (or borrowing :D  )

    See my posting "Energon Slugslinger to Classic Technobot Stafe idea"

    Looks cool and it's an exciting project. I'm wondering if you've simply attached these vehicles to the existing legs, if so is that the way you plan on keeping it?

    Also I like the scout class for limbs idea a lot too

    As an alternative to using Metroplex, I thought of turning Cyb Menasor into Scattershot. I've got an Optimus Primal whose guns and wings I want to add to him. I also want to give him actual arms (I have a spare that are the right length from a KO Happy Well Megatron).

    What are the official colors (or equivalent) for Computron and the Technobots?

    IIRC it's cream (or off white), maroon/crimson, brown, and orange. I'm thinking of the appropriate hues for painting this project.

    I think I'm going to go with Cybertron Starscream (Voyager) as Scattershot. Any ideas?

    Good luck finding one...ebay or TFields. DO NOT BUY THE ONE THAT IS MONEY ORDER ONLY!!!! That person is a known scammer...I was warned, now you have been too.

    In addition, attachments points will be tricky, I am still working them out. The legs need some moding, I would like to make them slide upward. But for now they work ok just flipped backwards.

    Looks good so far. The only problem i have with metroplex as a base figure is that your basically just sticking cars and bulldozers on to his legs.. which doesnt make him any taller (not that he needs to be).

    I checked to see if there was a Red Alert gallery for him, but there wasn't.

    Also, the Metroplex base is a tentative idea. There are other ideas I have in place such as Cybertron Starscream and Red Alert.
