All right. Just ordered these a few minutes ago.

    MG OYW RX-78 Gundam

SD Gundam Mk II (Titans Colors)

I decided against the Casval Gundam, since I've already set my mind to do a repaint of the HGUC Rick Dom II in Char colors, and I've already got Char's Z'Gok in HGUC. Even I know when I have too much Char...

    Thoughts?

Very good choice on the OYW Gundam as its vastly improved over the Gundam version 1.5 which the Casval Gundam is based on. The OYW kit so durable that IMO, it feels like a toy abeit a rather lightweight one. Get some markers and he's done! Congrats by the way! :D

I went and got another fine-tip black with the order, in case the one I have now runs out. That thing's got a ridiculous amount of panel lining....

To tell the truth, though, I really wanted to get the Crossbone Gundam MG, but GundamStoreAndMore was out.

I mean DESPERATELY wanted the Crossbone Gundam: that was one of the few models I wanted on-sight. The sheer pirate-ness of it, ya know.....

Yeah, I wanted to pick up the Crossbones too...by the way, Bandai is releasing a newer version of the Crossbones...this time the cloak is not a cloth piece. I will try to find pictures.

Good thing u bought another marker because one of the OYW Gundam's gimmicks is panel lining.

SydneyY - that OYW kit is known for its artictulation.

Wow! You have a Hobby Link Japan Hotlinking Picture model!

But seriously curse you. I want the Alteisen to complete my ATX team OG1 trio, but the thing keeps selling out and even Ebay is iffy on em. Though its not like I have even put together Huckbein 2 and Wiessy yet anyhow... Hell, I have a Macross VF2SS that I got 3 Christmases ago I still haven't built. (And an SD RX78 Gundam with all armor types back from when Gundam Wing first hit it big. And a Master Grade Patlabor Ingram. And most of G Gundam's Shuffle Alliance. And some War in the Pocket kits. And a Dougram Jakt type... Sigh.)

Here's the pics of the MG Crossbone Gundam Full Cross, based on the recent Fix Figuration piece.

On a sidenote, the MG Crossbone kit's pretty nice overall. It's got a ton of accessories, with a nice solid frame, and lots of fun gimmicks. It balances quite well, so it's quite fun to pose. I'd warn though that the construction's a bit of a doozy, as it's got quite a few parts that are ridiculously tiny and fragile. Once the kit's together, it's not a problem, as the parts all reinforce each other and make it nice and solid, but as separate pieces, assembly's a little harrowing. I'd also like to note that unfortunately, due to the molding process, Bandai was unable to mold the socket in the Zanber sword hilt deep enough to receive the palm tab. As a result, it's impossible for the Gundam to hold that bigass cutlass. You'll need to mod the handle a bit for it to work. Also, the cape's a bitch and a half to get on just right. It's doable, just really fiddly. The Active Cloak of the Full Cross version should be much easier to handle, although it loses some of the charm of the cloth cape.

Wow. That newer one manages to look even better. The solid cloak-thing is an improvement.

    *Looks at the right side*

    So we're getting another GP02?

The HG GM Quel looks pretty nice, though.

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT NEW GP02?

Looks like it gets the beam bazooka from the Fix Fig version, as well as a 6-tube launcher system... Oh I'm gettin' that. Always figured the old girl was good for more than being a van hauling an a-bomb.
