I'm pretty happy with my 2nd version and my 2 different stealth versions.

Mmc really knows how to pump the bejezus out of a mold. They keep going and going and going...

 

G2 version next please!!! ...maybe even a blue tinted transparent version as well... 

 

I think that an orange tinted transparent version would mimic his stealth box color.

 

Can somebody post a picture of all the different head variants MMC came up so far for this figure?

IS THIS THE BEST MIRAGE ON THE MARKET? I CAN'T SEEM TO SEE ANY OTHERS. MAYBE THEY'RE JUST ALL IN STEALTH MODE AND ARE COMPLETELY INVISIBLE...

 

There is, rumors said there was 1 case which was like 8 or 10? Not sure. I personally know of only 2, One was given away at TfCon toronto by raffle at mmc sales table, and there is 1 more that has been seen I the hands of a collector.

The upcoming Sphinx that is more cartoon accurate does anyone know if some of the issues will be fixed or not?,the reason I ask is because I have the original and trust me when I say that thing was super floppy,it took a while to tighten those joints,but finally I got about 97 to 98% of them fixed,but I still have problems with his waist and crotch,no matter what I do I can't get those to tighten.

But oh well its not the end of the world,also the reason I asked was because I plan on getting this Sphinx when he is released,that seems to fit the aesthetics of my MP Collection.Also to those who plan to get this I say this thing Looks Radical and I think it will be worth every penny to pick it up.Later guys.

Oh, I know all about their reasoning of "Well, we auctioned that one off for charity. And... it'd be lame to release more now and devalue his." Even though I think he only paid $200 Canadian for it.

I argued long ago that, instead of one auctioned for charity, 200 sold at retail and the profits turned over to charity would've yielded better results.

 

Not sure if I'm going to eat my own words (surely I will), but I think I'm done with this mold. I like it, enjoy it, but 3 different versions of the mold and I think it's enough for me...

MP10 though, dam, they can keep cranking out different versions and like a man dying of thirst, I'll keep lapping em up!

 

They should lose the engine knee blocks and give him a flat area. Super toon. Failing that I'll just print my own off

Hopefully the bowed/caved-in front wheels & undercarriage clearance issue will finally be resolved in this version. After all the other releases, I won't hold my breath though.

 

But that front strut hasn't been on any of the previous releases that I'm aware of. It wasn't on v1 or Liger.

 

Can anyone actually direct me to an episode of the toon where Mirage consistently has white feet/face and weapons, cause I can't find one? Not even the images of the animation model I've seen have them. They're silver/light grey and stand out pretty clearly as such against the white of his chest, arms and legs (inadvertently quoted Frankenfurter there...). Where are these 'white accents are toon accurate' ideas coming from? Also, he was usually more of a darkish, royal blue than the lighter one seen on the alt or toon deco. I'm just not getting this at all, other than maybe for the absence of the livery.





I'm assuming the last image is fan coloured, but still...

 

What's with the off-white almond color? it makes it look like unpainted Epoxy or the Caulk sealant they use on bathtubs and toilets.

Please tell me on the final version, it'll be a matching white to the rest of the white parts on the toy?
