just bought him from planet steel express.
When I was there 2 weeks ago, they didn't have any.

Would of been nice because I would of combined the shipping with him and the jaguar I bought a few weeks ago.
    Bloody shipping

    thanks for the heads up

I'd get it, but I sadly don't have cash for the shipping cost only the cost of the toy itself. lame, right? :(

The only issue I'm aware of is the front axles sagging under their weight. Others have said subsequent releases didn't sag as bad. I do have a v1 with parachute available in my sales thread.

I picked of the red version, PS-02 Liger, during yesterday's Ebay flash sale.

To anyone on the fence about this guy, go out and get him now. I got the second "lighter blue" version when it first came out last year and not only have I not experienced any QC issues but I can honestly say he is a work of art. A truly underappreciated 3P MP here on these boards.

Unfortunately the front wheels still bow a little (not as badly as the 1st version) plus there is still almost practically no undercarriage clearance just like the 1st version.

True, but this is one of those things I can overlook based on the superb overall aesthetic (Yes, I am a total homer for this figure)

We'll have to wait until another MP (3P or official) Mirage comes out. Scraping the ground on a flat surface is inexcusable.

Maybe Sphynx's designers should have done an origial Low Rifer character. That way all that ground scraping would be acceptable.

My copy of Sphinx (01A version) has pretty tight front wheels (no perceivable bow) and doesn't scrape the ground at all. Maybe this is one of those your mileage may vary issues.

Sphinx is my MP Mirage. I really don't feel the need for an update. He actually looks better than most of my official MP Carbots. o_O

From my signature pic you can tell that I like Sphinx. He looks great as a car and has a lot of personality in root mode.

For some reason I can see Takara doing an MP Mirage soon.

Getting Ligier to license is going to be the toughest part.

When it comes to race cars, there is no such thing as too much livery.
