That looks more like a chunk of parking block, than a brick. So totally not to scale.  
(I could be wrong though, but it seems to have odd composition for a brick)

It's a sedimentary rock I believe, conglomerate in particular. You can tell by the rounded grains.

FT Phoenix aka Skyfire is a clever name, but a tad misleading since many people are a bit more literal, including myself. Fortunately, I understand their reference and know of the figure. Damn I wish we got a similar quality Skyfire in CHUG scale. X2 Skybreaker has a derp face, MTCD Buster Skywing just doesn't look the part, even though it's pretty badass. Been settling with Gen30 Jetfire for now, but frankly, his ratchets have loosened up so much since I got him, that he barely stands at times, and he just doesn't capture the feeling of Skyfire, just Jetfire .

Man, those new pictures of Sky look fantastic. It has my vote for 3P of the year, as did their Overlord. To me, it just feels like that MMC makes certain releases their passion projects, putting extra love and refinement into them. You can tell which designs get that extra TLC lately. Overlord, Tarn, and now Sky Lynx. Other releases are good, don't get me wrong, but these just seem better done and more polished. Just my 2 cents. (MMC figures make up a large chunk of my 3P collection, and I love most of them.)

 

Not sure if I’ll display them combined or not, lynx is kinda wasted as just the legs, but it’s more impressive combined  

 

I feel ya. In the end I couldn't decide with the Feralcons to display solo or combined. Ended up having to buy two of each so I can display separate and combined.

The curse of MMC combiners.

 

Though Deathsaurus is a higher priority for me, that combined mode is amazing! I wasn’t totally feeling it in the early mockups, but Byrin snapped a damn fine pic of that dragon.

I was joking about a sentiment amongst Masterpiece fans that they’re collections are mostly complete so all of 3rd Party will collapse because there won’t be any more toon accurate masterpiece figures to buy.

Outside of size, this would totally be a G1 toongasm of an MP.

Still, while meant to scale with MMC’s CHUG Feral Rex, the 3rd Season Episode “The Return Of Optimus Prime” leaves room enough for these guys to actually be MP sized~

Maybe someone will upscale Iron Factory’s Jetfire.

But, I really think Magna Inventa looks amazing next to legends figures, if you’ve been curious about joining us in Hobbiton!

Also, I think MMC does the best wings in the business. Don't know why, but I'm endlessly fascinated by winged robots, but Predaking's are still my favorite. I hope this guy's still available when my work picks up in the spring.
