Got him yesterday, incredible transformation and another great figure from MMC

 

Only just noticed today something about this guys transformation that can easily be missed.

When taking him to robot mode theirs a final step with the abdomen where you have to push on it nice n hard until it clicks. Requires a good amount of force so now it makes sense how I missed it, seems other people have too now looking back at some photos. This stops him from having a "tummy" of sorts as his ab is suppose to cleanly follow down towards his upper waist buckle section.

You'll know if you missed this step since his ab will be poking out more than this:

 

I'm warning you guys, if you don't stop posting sexy pics of this figure I'm going to go and buy one. Even though I don't collect Reformatted or IDW or anything.

I have a credit card with too many bots on it already and I'm not afraid to use it! Get back!

Also, how awesome are the MMC Video Manuals on Youtube? usually, i tried Peaugh or any other Reviewer when i have problems with a figure, but they usually only do a vehicle to robot transformation. Video Manuals should become the standard for third party companies, or even Hasbro themself

 

That is a very clean solution. Or you can do this (one gun only):

 

Not much since the bow is still protruding, and you might accidentally loose that part.

Remark ** Shoulder joint I set to my "Fan mode" due to I think shoulder joint will be a bit higher and make more look natural posing.

Like :
- Great Head, especially smirk one.
- Great color choice.
- Easy transformation.
- Alt mode look nice.
- Joint tightness are great.
- Great material.

Dislike :
- Torso. It look too blocky and doesn't fit Hot Rod at all.
- Neck look a bit off.
- Transformation on silver pipe to lock with leg, mine 1 side can't lock at all. while another side have no problem.

Fair :
- Ankle articulation. is fine. to be honest I really want ab-crunch.

Totally. I love everything except torso part. I feel like SXS was better at this point while MMC have better color scream.
I will still get SXS one. cause I want more.

Yeah... this actually is the reason why I may end up not buying him. He should be smaller than Springer IMHO.
