I wonder if they would switch up the transformation on Getaway or just leave it like Calidus as Getaway and Rodimus have a reversed layout. Rodimus has windshield on back, Getaway is on front. Rodimus' legs become front of car, Getaway's become the back of car, etc., etc.

 

I never transformed my Impactor and Turmoil - do they transform the same?

I wouldn't care if they (Getaway and Rodimus) did though...

I took them out of the package, posed them a bit, added some faction symbols and put them behind glass.

And in Turmoils case, added a few more comic accurate blue paint apps.

 

Boss got a new unpainted test shot in hand today and sent me a pic. Couple of colors still need some further tweaking but most of the raw material plastic looks perfect. Red especially is just lovely and the hips are now a fantastic muted orange which will be color matched on the abdomen with paint of course since most of the torso is just solid red plastic mold wise. So things are rolling along nicely.

Not to sound greedy, but has there been any news regarding Drift or Wing recently? Or any new reveals up their sleeves?

I mean there's a mountain of new reveals mmc could reveal lol but its up to the boss what and when stuff gets shown and how. Plenty of it people will be excited to see whenever it gets its public debut I'm sure but eh if it aint ready for the public it aint ready. I assume what is next for showcase is being saved for the next big con or event that mmc stuff can be properly displayed at though. Haven't heard or seen anything about Alpha or Beta, mostly because I haven't bothered the boss about it I guess. But its safe to say when we have nice test shots of them all painted up and whatnot those will be shown off.

 

Do we at least have any revised dates for Megatron, roadbuster, turben, Oberon, and hot rod? Is roadbuster really Dec now?

Dicamus date on PSX is an error they don't seem to have corrected yet. My guess is they meant to change the month when they changed the year and forgot somehow because it was previously December 2016.

All the other dates are still what they are, Tyran for May, Oberon for March, Cali for June etc. Turben probably not going to make February though.

Well, at the very least, I think it demonstrates that the idea of appending lift fans to the Azalea mold somewhere and calling it Nautica wouldn't be great.  

 

Yeah. It looks absolutely terrible.

Hoping hoping hoping MMC will announce a Nautica and Firestar.

Their artwork/body shape seem similar, so hoping it would end up as a not so difficult retool.

 

If their is one thing above all else I want mmc to do more of its fembots but I certainly don't want to see Azalea's mold used again for any of them. Hopefully if/when we can the likes of Nautica and Firestar can be done justice with a brand new design specifically for them. Heck a cybertron Crasher could be made out of the same thing along with plenty of other g1 ladies that can easily be re-interpreted.

Just don't want yet another damn skinny, fiddly lady robot toy. IDW fembots have bulk and "muscle" now just like the usual bots do and that needs to be represented cause its sooo much cooler looking and makes for much more fun figures.

 

Yeah that NOTica won't do. Save us MMC.
