Completely repainted with battle damage and road going grime into a Military Camoflauge figure even using Fallout Hobbies Sci-fi letter stencils to create his designation from Mastermind Creations as R23. Most of what you see was using rattle can Rust-O-leum enamels. I decanted it and thinned down with enamel thinner for use in my airbrush on the altmode. First time using Humbrol weathering powder to create the dirt and mud effects as well.
Amazing paint work, alt mode looks fantastic, but the camo makes the robot mode look a biiit too busy. Only thing I can hold it against it though, still a spectacular job.
Yeah,I can see how that may come across that way. I just wanted a stark contrast between the Alt mode and his bot mode though. I couldn't tell you how much time I spent doing many layers of tape cutting to get that effect on the robot parts though. Seriously. That's probably what took the longest on this project.
