I might want to decide once Drift is revealed.
Nope but here's a screen from vangs video.
The transformation seems quite simple. It is something between Kultur and Calidus.
Boreas is definitely not the best figure MMC has produced, but he's probably the best Cyclonus out there. The mold isn't horrible and Boreas is the best QC version of the mold. My only gripe is the color. They should have inverted the colors used (the darker purple for the main figure and the lavender for the accents).
As for Alpha, this guy looks gorgeous but I keep asking myself if I really need another random B list IDW character in my collection. I'm probably going to just wait for Drift and skip this guy.
Looking at Aero Alpha's alt mode, am I the only one who thinks that we could get a decent Axe remold out of this?
You are not... it's a suggestion I've seen before, and given what a simple repaint that would be for MMC, it seems like a decent option for smaller releases... maybe a convention/store exclusive or something.
Trying to hold out on getting this. Heard this is a limited run for retailers other than planet steel express. Just looking over the drift mini series, makes it tempting.
Was really digging the white head like the original comic had and am pretty disappointed by this news. Might any be available in the white we've been seeing so far (it looks so much more elegant imo)? Like maybe a PSX exclusive or something? I already have one on preorder from BBTS but I'm really not crazy about the extra red that others seem to want.
With the added red accents on Wing's head, it will look less like Drift.
Boss said the all white head might end up a psx exclusive if they decide to make it for him still. Not 100% certain that will happen though. I asked him if possible we could include both with every box but again, dunno if that will happen either.
I thought I would prefer the all white head before as well but the more I've looked at his head the more its shapes all blend together due to the raw white plastic. I think if he were a character with a normal color scheme it wouldn't be so bad but white especially has this issue.
This would be reeeeally really awesome if possible but I understand it might not be do-able. Will keep my preorder at BBTS for now but keep an eye out here just in case you guys can pull it off in which case I'll preorder from PSX instead. Here's hoping though, this release would be perfect for me if we could still get it in the original colors.
And about preferring the white or the red, for me it comes down to loving the floppy release comic look since I read the series as it came out way back when. Was always baffled as to why they had to change it for the trade when Wing and Drift really don't look that much alike; different eye colors, different cheek inset pieces, different head shapes, and Wing has those great big cheek pieces.
I think these 2 guys could look good on a shelf with MP Star Saber, KFC Victory Leo, MMC Greatshot, FP Quickswitch and FP Sixknight.
Just had a skim through Wotafa's review, the red on his head really pops in my opinion! Looks great.

Yep skipping the white Drift and getting the inevitable black repaint. Hence I am getting this one.
good there's already been some fixes to it
Would this work for a Dai Atlus figure?
This design is growing on me.
No way, Dai Atlus needs to be bigger! I'm sure MMC will get plenty of mileage out of this mold with Wing, Drift, a Deadlock repaint and possible other knights. I feel like Dai Atlus deserves his own mold.
So excited for this and Drift. The scaling is that perfect middle ground where you can put them with anything and it'll work. Like @CVprowl, mine are joining the Star Saber shelf for some tf super robit sword man action. Should be great with the TFC brainmasters as well.
I'm sure I'll have a few versions of this design to pick from when I get to it. I'm more intent on a couple upcoming MMC releases and the blurple version of Calidus first.
