I'm Bruticussed out. Over it.
Go home MMC, you're drunk.
Their qc department is usually drunk.
No way! Keep drinking and power through to please the audience that didn't want movie Blackout as an arm and whatever the other one was and also sold their Warbotron...basically just please me, I suppose.
No one goes home until I get a toon accurate team of combaticons in decent scale with one another!!!
Close, but no. I'm talking full toon (as individuals), minimalistic, fanstoys/Maketoys/Takara style combaticons.
Fanstoys isnt the full toon your thinking of.
That's kfc/xtb. Full on toon.
It's close enough though. I don't mind a few added details, unique toys has simply missed the mark IMO. Zeta is...well at this point I'm not really sure what they're going for... and MMC seems to have messed up onslaught, and made all the limb bots too small. I may be waiting til the end of time, but one day I'll get my perfect bruticus.
The limb bots will have to be smaller than Onslaught if you're not willing to go for separate combiner parts (which make no mistake, I am). Otherwise you end up with FOC Bruticus, and no one wants that.
Actually they are so drunk they think they are not, hence the continued QC problems.
There's smaller...then there's tiny...I think warbotron has done the team's relative sizes the best.
And if the result was properly scaled and styled individual modes, I'm not against fake combiner parts, I'd just prefer to avoid them if possible.
Recall that Warbotron used a "trailer" to become the crotch and thighs. I had no problem with that, mind you. But it's the only way they were even close to each other in scale. I'd accept that here. Hell, I'd accept a Toyworld-style devoted crotch. Takes guts to do that, though.
My problem with Warbotron was Vortex and his fake nosecone, primarily. Though I wasn't thrilled by the fiddly transformation of Onslaught and the visible arm thighs.
Kinda like what x transbots is doing with menasor where a lot of the combined mode is made from motormaster's trailer
I am very pleased that MMC does not take the same route as Toy World did... maybe not as stable as the ToyWorld / Zeta combiners but surely a engineering marvel!
Until it falls to pieces out of the box. Have some superglue on standby.
LOL, I don't think so! But only time will tell... For now, I will stick with UT and Zeta...
Thats what mmc can do.
Bring it on... I'll take them all... Have Warbotron Regular sized, OS sized, half way though UT's, 2 of FansProject's Bruticus... g1s...
I like the cut of MMC's jib too.
Any word on size?
