Hopefully everything else they've announced before this comes out first and this doesn't delay their cassettes, Cliffjumper, etc.

so basically they went with the ocular Max Onslaught but the Sunbow limbs. that's a defensible choice. I think the sunbow limbs actually look better

Hey @Turnman, do you happen to remember if the prototype Onslaught had any toon inspired detailing or was he really as toy-only focused as the line art suggests?

I'm not trying to insinuate anything negative regarding those who have gone in on the current Brutici in-progress, but based on the lineart alone I'm glad I waited because this has me more excited than any of the other offerings at a comparable stage.

Now then, since I rushed to post without reading: when is this expected?

If this is the case then please direct me toward the arena in which I may incite a screaming dance riot to proclaim my interest.

negative, ghost rider. been in development for some time, allegedly fully contained and no partsforming for head/hands, etc.

    1) Proper G1 Swindle- YAY!
    2) All-in-one transformations for all member pieces- Finally!
    3) Proper G1 representations for all characters- Bought!

My only concerns will be aesthetic and stability. I'm not overly fond of the aesthetic spin that MMC invests into their figures and they sometimes have issues with stability, which is critically important for a combiner. Not to mention MMC hasn't tackled that many combiners, which could further increase potential for stability issues.

I'm optimistic, but we'll see as this project moves forward.

I hope the decision to go all inclusive with combiner parts doesn't result in crappy looking individual bots.

From what I recall speaking to the MMC rep at TFCon Toronto, he said the engineering and designs are old so the Protectobots are currently in the backend somewhere most likely being redesigned.

I'm not against integrated parts but there's a reason why the hands and feet tend to be separate pieces ... I think that integration could work out fine for the hands, but I'm a little iffy about integrated feet. Perhaps MMC could do a best of both worlds thing with integrated feet but also a port to plug a separate foot into. Something compatible with say PE feet or some such. Or better yet give us separate feet in-package for those who might feel the integrated ones are inadequate.

Looking forward to seeing how the execution is IRL.

I'm skeptical about integrated combiner hands/feet. I'm not engineer-enough to really envision that this will work without big compromises to proportion in robot mode or alt mode. I have no problems of having the hands/feet as separate pieces to keep the 3 modes looking good. I also have no problems if they find a way to integrate these parts while keeping all 3 modes looking good. But I do have a problem with the set not looking good whether they integrate or not. Lol.
