Nah. It's not that it's a bad figure it's just a combination of them reusing the mould so blatantly and it not really suiting the character.
The proportions don't fit the character but then again if one would look at this as a G1 Bulkhead as opposed to the Animated and Prime versions I guess this works.
Like it. I don't want it as a Prime Bulkhead or Animated Bulkhead. I wanted it as a Generations Bulkhead, and in that capacity, it works pretty well. Not a huge fan of the head, but I'm not sure exactly how I'd homage Bulkhead in generations differently. It's a legitimate design homage. Very likely I'll buy it.
Idw Monstrosity series. This is a pretty good fit for the early IDW TF mainline which seems to be the focus of MMC's Reformatted line. With what a brief role he has in the Monstrosity story, start of the Decepticon revolt, I'm not surprised people think this is the TFP Bulky
Kinda funny how people were saying they hoped MMC would do Bulkhead after they saw Titanika, and now that they are people are calling it a lazy repaint and MMC the Hasbro of 3P. I swear, there is no pleasing this fandom.
Not a fan of how he turned out. I think he needed more extensive remolding... and the head is too big.
I'd be amused if MMC gauged that demand for this was similar to Anubis and decided to make it a con exclusive as well. With subsequent complaints about it being an exclusive. My advice is for people to buy the toys they want, and ignore the ones they don't. For example, that Thunderclash might be accurate, but those colors are so garish I'm not sure I'm going to get it. And I'll just leave it at that.
eh... easy pass for me although aside from their Overlord, I've passed on most of their Reformatted line. Nothing they've shown so far has caught my eye yet, really hoping for some Ocular Max updates.
I don't think the proportions work for bulkhead. The head sculpt looks amazing but i still don't think the mold is the right fit. Definitely animated bulkhead colours and placement not prime. I wish idw bulkhead would have a bigger role though.
But it's kind of cool to be able to incorporate characters you like into different lines. It's not for everyone but having options is never a bad thing.
Not feeling this mold as Bulkhead. I love Dicamus and have him set on my Wrecker's shelf, but this is a hard pass for me.
Looks neat. It works if you want a G1 Bulkhead with Animated/Prime elements but anything else? Not so much. I wont presume any agreement but I imagine folks would want a Bulkhead that homages Animated or Prime Bulkhead (I'm the latter) to a T. Honestly I'd consider Skullgrin or Straxus for this mold given the vehicle profile and rifle.
Speaking of TFP this mold would actually fit Prime Breakdown a lot more since the alt mode and proportions are actually spot on to him.
