I will say I'm not sure if this the proper forum. But since there is what I always read and it is in regards to Mighty Mugs Prime I'm posting here.

Went to Target tonight to grab a couple things for the house, and as any time I go in the store, I need to check out the TF section. Now I have been waiting to see the mighty mugs in person, with the thought of maybe getting them. As I'm pushing the cart down the TF action my daughter is looking and usually gets a little excited because she knows her Daddy has a ton of TF's all over the place. Well I see the Mighty Mugs and pick them up and her face lit up with one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen on her. So her Mommy had me line them up in front of her and the asked her which one she wanted, she thought about it for a bit and then pointed at Prime. I handed Prime to her and she grabbed it and let out a squeal of happiness.

This sight of enjoyment made me so proud and brought back so many memories as a kid. Watching her clasp it in her hands and just staring at as we went to the check out, brought back so many memories of me getting my first TF's and the excitement of taking it home. As the cashier checked us out she couldn't wait to get it back in her hands. So on the way to the car her mommy gave it back she clamped back down on that box. She held it all the way home and would not let it go anywhere in the car. She was holding it so tight her knuckles were turning white.

When we finally got home she followed me around holding the box waiting for me to open it. I open it up and free him from his box and hand him over to her, she grabbed him and kissed him on the head and the smile on her face is still there 2 hours later. He has eaten dinner with her, taken a bath with her, and ran all over the house with her. Currently he is sitting next to her as she is about to fall asleep.

Watching her these past two hours has brought me so far back in time to memories of such a carefree time with no stress, just a time of play and fun. Now collecting TF's is a stress relief for me but no where near the feeling that tonight watching my daughter play with her first very own TF. Talk about a father just melting from the seeing the happiness of their child's face from enjoying a new toy. Thought I would share.

That's adorable. I'm 13, & I love little kids. They can be such a joy. This proves my theory that girls can like Transformers. My cousin probably thinks that I only like Transformers because I'm a guy...but I think she likes Transformers more than she wants to admit.

    awwwww!
    such a cute story!
it's definitely possible for girls to like transformers.
My girlfriend does. even has the barricade hoody from hot topic back when the 2007 movie first came out. although she likes starscream and prowl best.
Just goes to show you how timeless of a character optimus prime is. 25 years old and he;s still likeable by children this young.
...god that's so cute I wanna cry :3

My six-year-old likes TF's as much as I do, and even enjoys store-hunting! Her appreciation for TF's came shortly before the 07 movie and hasn't stopped. She loves to play with the latest finds, then figures the transformation sequence for herself most of the time. BB is her favorite, followed by MP Prime.
