Does your laptop have card readers? Check your my computer (or where/however Vista lists drives) if it does they will be listed there. If not your going to have to buy a reader.

If your PC has a card reader it should have little slots in front of the cpu, if not, you'll have to buy a card reader so you can plug it via USB. Soundwave only takes 1GB cards but i'm afraid i don't remember if it's micro or mini SD. Hope it helps.

From my understanding, ML Soundwave uses micro sd cards, which are different from normal and mini sd cards.

Yeah, it (micro SD) is a format really only used in Japan. But you can buy an adaptor for a mini SD card.

to be honest, depending which one you'll buy there's a chance your Micro-SD will come with an adapter of some sort, but as always it's best to check thouroughly.

Buy Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB MicroSD Flash Card with 2 adapters (miniSD and full-size SD) and USB reader Model MBLY/2GB - Flash Memory or Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB MicroSD Flash Card with 2 adapters (miniSD and full-size SD) and USB reader Model MBLY/2GBKR - Flash Memory

Both of those have the adapters you need to not only make a MicroSD card into a MiniSD card, which is what works in Soundwave, but they also both have USB drive readers. Oh, and lastly they're both under $10 with free shipping.

Edit: Real last note, Soundwave CAN use 2GB cards. I know, I do in mine.
