Hello there. I wonder if anybody has taken any of Takara's little Choro-Q or Penny-Racer style cars and converted them into Mini-Con's? I have a Choro-Q 1989 Honda CRX and was thinking of turning it into a Mini-Con using a Cliffjumper/Bumblebee frame. The Choro-Q's have the same dimensions and approximately the same size as the Mini-Con's, so I think it might work. One would need to unscrew the body from the chassis, and hack the body so it'll fit the new "chassis". Just wondering if anybody else has thought about or done this. If they have done this, will they please post pictures? Thank you!
I know for a fact this was done, and I'm sure it was done on these boards. Now I'm gonna scramble and look for the post. ~Z
Please queue the Final Fantasy battle (victory) music. Thanks. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/222409-minibot-meyham.html - turboedguy ~Z
Thank's, but I'm not seeing the how-to guide that the guy mentioned in that thread. Those all look great and look's like I see a little Jazz there!
Just FYI,the G1 figures like Bee and Jumper were called Minibots not Mini-Cons. Can be done, you might try PMing turboedguy and ask him if he could help you with the idea.
When I make this figure, I don't want to use an existing Minibot head, nor do I really want to make one from scratch. So what heads are there that are of same size from other figures/series that I can use?
