    Thanks. Eventually I want to build a rig so I can use fishing line to support figures so I won't have to worry about balancing them.

    Nice work and I like how (in the 1st video) you animated the transformation quickly, its much more realistic and flows better :) 

    these are good but you need to work on minimizing the ghosting (I think you used onionskinning?.. might be wrong here.. ) and introducing some pixel motion blur

    There arent many Step by Step Tutorials but these can be useful..

    xxxfancypantsxxx - He has some great animation tutorials and is EXTREMELY useful (you just have to adapt the minifig tips to a larger scale)

    Sound effects (stopmotion 101)
    They have some other tutorials as well...

    just look around these sites there are some great tutorials on youtube as well :) 

    What program do you use?
    and I could help you out if you like :)  I'm OK at stopmotion...

    demolishor was good, might wanna look into the ease in - ease out technique, that will improve the quality greatly. :D  keep it up !!
