These are the only Tom Cruise movies I can stand. I'll wait for DVD though.

I never liked any of the sequels but since it has Simon Pegg in it, it's got me very intrigued.

I'll see this for the same reasons I saw MI3: J.J. Abrams and Simon Pegg. Well, Jeremy Renner being in this one doesn't hurt either.

I've enjoyed all 3 movies and this one looks pretty good too! It will be interesting to see how Brad Bird handles his first live action flick.

I felt that MI3 was the best entry in the series. I'm looking forward to seeing Brad Bird and Tom Cruise working together to top that.

I thought the second one suckez ballz. Not since Advent Children can I remember a movie that lauded style over substance. It was all about slo-mo shots, sensual shots, sound bytes, portentous dialogue and a paper-thin plot. I had to put the final fight on fast-forward because it was just sooooo slooooooow.

This comes out soon! I really want to see it. Quite a few early reviews are calling it the best in the series.

I might just check this out over Christmas break. It looks like the it will be the best in the series so far. I love how over-the-top they've made the action scenes.

Just saw this last night. I thought it was awesome, the best in the series. The previous movies have all sort have been stand alone with no real references to the previous movies except the fact that Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames were in all of them (but no real references to the previous happenings). I liked how they connected this one to MI3 (I won't spoil anything though! ;)  ) The action scenes were great and had me on the edge of my seat a few times. The main weakness I saw would be an underdeveloped villain, but this one seemed to be more about a team that was thrown together with limited resources trying to pull off an impossible mission (makes sense, right? :lol  ) Brad Bird did a great job and I hope he continues to find success in live action (but also goes back for a certain animated sequel with a family of supers someday) Loved MI4 and will definitely be buying it for the home collection.

Saw this one on x-mas eve. I know many have taken T.C. to task for being an over indulgent couch-jumping moronic douche, but as a movie action hero he is the friggin real deal. Too many nancy's out there in filmdom these days- prancing around with gelled up hair and sunken cheek bones, trying to seduce (and now marry) the girl rather than be a real vampire- so it's nice to see just a fun popcorn action movie with real action heroes doing real action hero schtick.

So, was the movie any good? As the above should indicate, yeah, it was damn good! I'd highly recommend it as a fun outting at the movies over the long holiday break.

Re: the above. I actually felt Renner was under utilized in this flick. He's a great actor with amazing chops for what little he's been in, but unfortunately this movie didn't make full use of that. Oh well, perhaps in the inevitable sequel?

Like in all MI movies you have to REALLY suspend disbelief while watching this movie. But also like all MI movies, I REALLY enjoyed the ride.
