There I was taking picutes of my collection. I decided to start of with my G1. Took pictures of all the Decepticons, no problem. As I am unpacking all of my Autobots I slowly start to realize I am missing two. I keep digging and unwrapping, finally getting to the bottom of an empty box. Now I am certain that my G1 Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are missing. I have no clue as to where they could be. This is very annoying.

I went through the same thing with BW Airazor. I know I have her, but she's not in any of my Beast Wars boxes. Still have no idea where she is, and it's been like, a year since she went missing.

I feel your pain, guys. We moved in 1986 when I was 10 years old. During the move, I somehow lost Blurr, Bombshell, Kickback, and Shrapnel, along with a bunch of Garbage Pail Kids cards. I have absolutely no idea what happened to any of them. Poor little guys. :cry

yup, after digging out all of mine years ago, G1 starscream totally disappeared. my megatron was gone, but I think I threw him out after the barrel broke off. I lost ravage in a hotel in quebec in like 1985, too.

Yep, I'm totally clueless as to when it disappeared. I guess it's a good thing both are relatively easy to come by. Sideswipe is reissued, but Sunstreaker is a bit harder. Usually have to buy him and then his accessories. Oh well.

Question: How were they packed? I've bought collections that were wrapped in newspaper, and nearly thrown stuff away, thinking that somethings was just a wad of paper. Hope not, but something to check. Good luck.

Had them wrapped in plastic dry cleaner bags. Somehow I managed to get whole box of the stuff, turned out great for wrapping transformers. I know I could not have thrown them away, I'm real careful with my Transformers. Or at least I thought I was, hmmmm.

My brother used to have a fair few nice items. Complete G1 Bludgeon, Wolverine: Adamantium Rage for the SNES, X-Men for the Mega Drive.
I still maintain they all ended up in one box that remains in the darkest recesses of the loft.

Maybe we should have a day of mourning, or perhaps just an hour, for all lost transformers.

I'm missing a Razorbeast. For once I get a figure with value and it goes missing.

Fear not, I lost a set of Wheeljack spoilers over 3 years ago and FOUND THEM the other day at the bottom of a drawer. So there is hope-keep looking.

i lost a g1 ravage in my grandfathers garden about 18 years ago. 2 years ago, i was tilling the lawn to start a new garden, and there he was. diecast was rusted to hell, but the plastic cleaned up well, and was sold on e-bay as restoration parts... got $10 for it.
