I'm in third year computer engineering. I had great marks for my first two years, but I'll be happy to have passed this semester. It was brutal and punishing. Haven't got my marks back yet. Been checking every day, but I'm almost scared. So long as I pass, I don't care. A friend of mine said this to me. What do you call someone who has a few D's on their transcript when they get their B.Eng? An engineer.
...I took step Aerobics :/ .... As far I i know I don't have to take gym classes for the rest of my life now.
Ace...you had an easy semester...Guess we're happy if you are, but you gotta get with it, the classes should only get harder and you need to buckle down and strive to make C's or better, those 'fluff' classes don't count for much in the real world nor do they go a long way in helping you gain the skills needed for a well paying position. Please remember that aid is not free and it's a privilege to qualify for the assistance.
Yea I had some difficulties with applying this year. I was signed up to an Sdv course and another essential course but my Financial aide came in late and I got kicked out of the course(s) due to late payment. this coming semester I'm going through my english. What I'm doing is at the Community college is catching up in what I"m lacking in scholastically (Math, and grammar) then I'm going to transfer to a 4 year school next fall. Most of the courses towards my major I have already taken and all that's left is Math and eng which I'm taking care of this semester.
All glory to the allmighty curve, may you be embraced in its mercy and sail upon it's forward edge. But yeah, third year as an excercise in masochism is pretty much par for the course. You'll do fine. Does NS have a certification program for engineers like other provinces? Technically you'd call someone with a few D's on their transcript who made their P. Eng certification an engineer. Was step aerobics a required course? With the no doubt atrocious sum you were paying for college, why didn't you fill that slot with something you could get some use out of?
You made a thread to brag about your As in step aerobics and photography. At community college. Just want to make sure I'm reading you right.
nope.. if you haven't got the point yet... (no offense intended) I wasn't prepared at all my first semester. I applied late, got my aid and books late and honestly I should've started this coming Semester :/ I'm also coming straight out of a Homeschool environment to where I had no schedule to an environment where schedule's are key... It was madness. I'm just glad I have the chance to go again and do it right. Was all I meant... Those A's in those Minor classes Photography/gym no matter how minor Saved my Ass... And that right now all that counts.
If you want to do well in industrial design you better work your ass off in math this upcoming semester.
Yes but my counselor recommended me to take an English course this semester. and I had to kick it off the roster due to schedule conflicts.
