That's treading down the path to a dangerously shitstorm-inducing argument. Some people just like sexy pictures of sexy things, there's no underlying dementia behind it, and while I respect your right to dislike the thread if that's how you really feel, I don't see why you feel the need to step in and try to stir up trouble among the people who DO enjoy that kind of thing. This thread was just started for fun. To say "hey guys, which femmebot is the biggest cutie?", not "Which femmebot are you going to fap over this afternoon?"

But you know, I don't want this thread to suddenly devolve into whether or not it's acceptable, normal or deviant to ogle cartoons. If you all feel that strongly about this kind of thing, maybe it'd be better for all parties involved to just lock the thread and let no more be said about it.

Agreed with Reflector Unit, this isn't being unable to distinguish fantasy from reality. Frankly it's not that different from being able to discuss the characters and story without going "actually guys optimus isn't real, he's just a bunch of 2d images being placed one after another to give us the illusion that he's a robot that can transform into a firetruck". They were written and designed to be relatable characters to humans despite being giant robots.

Sure there's some creepy people out there (mostly on deviantart, and most would probably hate the female robots for not being their OC based on themselves who gets paired with everyone) but for the most part this thread was just meant to be fun.

 

Besides, i'ts obvious by all the votes for Strika that not many users are taking this seriously  

 

Its not all about looks. Its also about attitude and style. She led the team that pawned Rodimus and his crew, quickly and efficiently. Her leadership material as well as her warrior skills puts her at the top of the list for some people.


I don't think too much in this thread is wrong. Unless you hate beauty pagents, and shows like "American Idol" and Britain's "You've got Talent" and stuff like that.

The reality is that it's fapping to some animators fantasy. It's not real, yet it's sometimes preferred over something that is. You are correct though that this thread isn't about fapping necessarily, but come on. How is this topic any better than someone posing the same question of the Snorks or Gumby? It's strange and not in a 'it's different!' way. Just as someone has the 'right' to post such a topic doesn't mean we can't call them on it.

It's about which female transformers is the fan favorite, and I'm sure the OP never intended for it to become anything more than that. I don't know who started the whole "female transformers are hawt" discussion, but whoever it was, he is entitled to his opinion, and I see no reason to take this discussion any further.

 

The poll header is "Hottest Femmebot". If it was "fan favorite", we'd be sitting here now discussing how Arcee's characterization isn't really fulfilled yet and how BA's persona has drastically changed from being Elita One.

 

I'm pretty sure characters such as Black Arachnia was ment to be attractive and seductive. I know for a fact that a great load of transformers fans find Black Arachnia sexy, and while I am not one of them, I see where they're coming from. But anyway, just because the header says "Hottest Femmebot" dosn't necessarily mean that we're ment to discuss how "OMG HAWT" each of them is. Most replies have been on their personalities and design, so I see nothing wrong with this thread. Even if everyone was discussing boob-size and other mildly creepy stuff like that, it wouldn't give anyone the right to start ranting about how they find it disgusting and wrong that some people get off to "ROBOT PRONZ".

If you have a beef with the people who are into that kind of stuff, make your own thread about it. I believe it would make for an interesting discussion.
