EDIT: Painted, on page 2 (post 21)

Just a little side project i did to cure boredom. I decided to make the best use of the new 3mm clip Hasbro so kindly introduced to their scouts, creating new weapons.

    Parts:

From Front to Back: Shaft, Convex Hammerhead, Concave Hammerhead, 'Feather' Blades (x2), Stalker Adaptors (x2)

"What the hell am i supposed to do with this?"
Guess Breacher hasn't figured it out yet...

    "Ah, that's better"

Finally Breacher figures out what the shaft is for...took him long enough. :lol

    Breacher, now with Swords:

Because one can never have enough pointy objects...

Rumble (aka Skystalker) with Stalker Adaptors:

So finally, Skystalker can use all the 3mm weapons, without having to worry about his clip being inset into his arm. A simple Male-Female extension piece.

The Feather Blades back with their rightful owner:

    And in Vehicle mode:

Hope you guys like them. As i said, this was just a little side project for me, so it's not for sale on SW store, unless by some miracle people actually want this. :D

Very nice! Depending on the price, I'd love to have some of those. The swords on Skystalker look absolutely amazing.

Also, if you don't mind, what program are you using to make the 3D models?

That's a pretty cool idea. I'd take a set, again, depending on price. I'd probably give the hammer a once over though, make it more warlike.

Heh, I didn't expect anyone to be interested in this. For the record, the hammer was made less war like due to them being inspired by Animated Ratchet's tools (so it's a medical tool rather than a bludgeoning weapon). Still, I might go make another hammer.

I'm going to make this set available in WSF, and iirc it costs $9. However, do take note that Shapeways charges a minimum of $25 per order, so you will need to either buy a few sets, or find other things to make up the difference.

Captainman: I'm using Sketchup, and a few plugins to make these models. I have about 2 years experience using the program on and off.

I am not into new generations of figures cause I am a g1 purist, so, even though i would not use these, there is a lot of people that will, You sir are VERY CREATIVE, keep the good work man!! .......I am even thinking now of some uses for G1 figures!

With G1 figures? Do please share how to use them with G1. Nothing's better than vintage plastic crack!*

    *aside from Classics. :lol

Thanks bro! Is there anything you'd particularly want to see?

If this turns out to be the first thing that sells from my Shapeways store, I don't know if I will be anpble to withstand the irony... :lolol

I like the melee weapon theme. Not too many people doing anything besides the Prime-axe in close combat weapons. Swords, shields, spears, axes, whatever. Clip stuff is great, period. :)

These are rather cool. I particularly like how the swords trail in Skystalker's vehicle mode.

If you're gonna have a hammer like that, then maybe you should also model an anvil, so people can use 'em for Rack 'n' Ruin kitbashes... ;)

That's the first thing I thought too, a double-breacher Rack'n'Ruin would probably work quite well!

looks like shapeways stuff, nice. you should go for the sledgehammer in stead of the typical one, but nice stuff!

Hmm, I didn't think of making Prime axes... Or any sort of axe for that matter. Need to get working on those... :)

Damn, you're right. I do need to make that. Hopefully with Chinese New Year comg up, I'll have a lot more cash to test print more designs and maybe I'll fit in a RacknRuin (sp?) set...

By Nightstick, you mean Cyclonus' TM? Otherwise, I'm not sure I follow...

Means a lot, bro. Sometimes simple just works. :D

    Thanks!

Two Breachers? I'm getting an idea...

What's a typical identifiable characteristic of a sledgehammer? As in, how does one make it obvious that it's a sledgehammer?

How do these look on deluxes and voyagers? It amuses me to think of Tomahawk with shoulder hammers
