    Hi folks

Yes a total noob question ... have been shopping

I'm a G1 fan so when I wandered into TRU for a look at things for my daughters christmas I spotted that they still had some of the G1 reissues i got out the credit card... lol

I picked up, soundwave, skywarp, redalert, prowl and tracks...

Question I put to you is.... do I resist the urge to open them ... Keep the sealed for collectability... or do I open them carefully... apply the stickers, break the spruces of missles out and put them on display?

I'm not doing this for profit.... just for my own pleasure... but I don't want to compromise the collectability factor... My fort max is loose (and getting towards being complete) and he's just on display out of the direct sunlight..

So what would you do - open them up, apply the sticker and display while keeping the boxes... or keep them in the boxes and just look at them??

I just want what you would do - I don't want a argument of opinion!

    Kenny

Open them, sticker them, and enjoy them. Keep the boxes for storage/display purposes. That's what I do.

How about find a friend who has everything sealed and loose in both alt and bot mode and hang out at his house all the time?

(wait did I just read TRU in the US STILL has commemorative reissues (other than soundwave, who was comparatively recent)?

Yeah I agree with Draven though.

Yup open carefully, play with, get bored with it, put it back in the box and display it. Only stuff I keep MISB is Japanese toys.

When it comes to G.1 I'm a MISB guy if I can get away with it for a fair price, but otherwise I'd say just keep them MIB and they still look great, you can then always swap between loose display and MIB display..

If you have room, set him free. Let the nostalgia out of the box.

Usually let mine out for a few days , or until the dust starts attacking.

Open them and enjoy them! Stickers are optional for me (only because I suck at putting them on well). The boxes generally go to the recycling bin once the toy is free from its prison.

I opened up my reissues, stickered them and put them on display. I kept the boxes since they look nice!

I would open them where if I needed to, I could put them back in the box to store later. But all of my reissues are sealed.

i'm a mib / misber and as for reissues i can say that it's worth enjoying the opening and sticker applying as you like it best.

It is cool to transform them and mount the guns look at the details. The only bad thing about opening is that, the shiny look they have will fade really quickly, that is unless you have a display case for them or something.

Open, sticker them, transform then but keep the boxes and paperwork just in case.

Open. What's the point in having a transforming toy if you're only going to LOOK at one mode?
