I'll see about adding the Arcee modification later.

The Breacher video (and related videos) are good ideas, but they're not "modifications", rather alternate ways to play with the toys.

Still, I think these all can certainly give people here some new ideas; thanks for sharing :thumb

Updated post with 4 links at the top to Generations Blurr, Animated Lugnut, Hailstorm, and Cybertron Ransack GTS. I'm pretty proud of making Lugnut's head turn.

Thanks. I might do that. I was thinking that Lugnut would be moved to the tutorial section anyway, so I was gonna let that be the new one. You fantastic mods always do such a great organizing job, we've come to rely on you. : )

Well, you've really been busting out some great ideas here lately! I really like that most of them seem pretty easy and that most anyone who wants to do them can just go at it.

I've felt that organization has been a great strength here in the Creative section ever since we overhauled it many years ago. Mainly, I put myself in the shoes of someone wanting to find THAT tutorial (you know, whichever one you're thinking of at the time but can't find it to save your life), and try to go about that on the Table of Contents. I think you'll be seeing a bit more refining of that even more in the future. :)

Thanks! I've got some other old ideas that I have yet to record and edit to upload as well.
Yes, exactly... that's the same kind of thing I love, is a mod that I can do myself. That's what I look for online, so I like to share w/ others when I can. Looking at the awesome customs that the 'pro's' here do just blow me away, but I can't afford to buy them, nor the time to try that much hardcore modding myself. LOL.
But a simple one that can improve a figure I that already have... that's worth my time, and hopefully some others too. I also enjoy giving an old figure renewed interest; almost makes it new to me again.
I think part of it is exploring the new feature you just created / unlocked, but it's also that now a part of me is with that figure. We've bonded. And not just with a crazy glue accident. ; )

I agree... the creative area has come SOOO FAR, and grown immensely! I think it's insane how many people can be inspired to create some art form from TF's. What a great hobby we all have. : )

Goal achieved! The tutorial section is from my experience, hands down the most searchable part of the boards! The TOC is big, but well managed. I'm always able to find a mod idea for that figure I want to search for (if it's there of course. : )
    Keep up the great work!

chris, one other thing I'll add is that many artists have gotten their kick start from a very minor tutorial. For many, the mere thought of disassembling a toy they've hunted down and [sometimes] paid [lots of] money for is very foreign. The simplest tutorial can often break someone out of that mindset.

Many years ago, the simple act of dis-assembly is one of the things that really jump started me into making customs :)

    tutorial breakthru

Me too!!! I dabbled a bit with fixing loose joints and stuff before, but I think the Animated Bumblebee's stingers was the first thing that really bugged me enough that I thought I could improve it without defacing the figure in the process. The results were excitingly pleasant, and I've been on the kick ever since, getting gradually braver with each mod.

Yea, it's actually quite fun to disassemble and reassemble some figs. It's awesome to see the engineering inside. I grew up with Robo-Strux (later reinvented into Zoids) and those were sweet cause you see all the engineering as you build them. What a great line... they should still be around.
