I've got two questions, has anyone seen a Twin Twist in the wild, and is anyone interested in some sharkticons? I was army building them but changed my mind

No no. Given their current stock levels on some stuff "Butt Target" works.

Saw the Nitro and Scorn army at the Brooklyn Park Target as well, but nothing new Titans Return or deluxes of any new TF. I get the feeling they're going to stretch the last of Titans Return and TLK way into next year. So close to getting almost everything I want from TR, but that last wave is coming by donkey at this rate.

Non TF related, but I bought the Nendoroid DX Link (BotW) all the way from Japan only to find three of them sitting on the shelf at the Target in Brooklyn Park.

Moovy sighting: I broke down and rented TLK...very likely it was because my expectations were that it was going to be terrible, but to my surprise, I ended up not minding most of it...at least till the end. Once Prime showed up to fight, the stupid factor went off the charts and the make-believe, sci-fi flick went from typical unrealistic to straight ridiculous...it was like they knew it was running too long so they called it, made up any old ending, and threw it out there for consumption. So the last half hour or so was stupid and about what I was expecting, but other than that...it wasn't the worst shit I had ever witnessed. I like it better than Age of Stink-tion, anyhow.

Eagan Target with a pair of RiD Team Combiners. That's about it.

It's easily the worst of them imo. Even AOE wasn't as bad for me as TLK. Still bugs the shit outta me how they didn't even bother to explain half the shit that happened but I guess that's not anything new for a Michael Bay Transformers movie.

Admittedly, it's probably largely based on expectations, and what I had going in for TLK were that it was going to be terrible. But I thought it was much better than AOE. I hated AOE...thought it was boring and didn't like any of the characters, humans or robots. I couldn't wait for it to be over. Don't get me wrong, TLK wasn't 'good', I just didn't think it was an inflamed bag of shit. It was only the 3rd or 4th worst one.

Funny how that works, every time I have low expectations of a movie it turns out better than expected. Whenever a movie is over hyped I always come out of it thinking it wasn't all that. Expectation levels can and do affect how much one enjoys a movie.

Usually I'm the same way and I had extremely low expectations going in for TLK, but sadly it "exceeded" those expectations and was even worse then I imagined. I think that left an extra sour taste in my mouth.

I barely remember TLK from when I saw it in theaters. Basically left the theater afterwards feeling all "What did I just watch?"

So local Target restocked their Titans Returns figures at last with... Krok, Quake, and Triggerhappy... I'm going to have to order Twin Twist, Misfire, and Slugslinger online, aren't I?

It's not the *worst* situation, at least they're in the Wave 4 revision instead of Wave 4 proper.

    Meanwhile...

Northtown TRU did a store wide reset just recently it seems. Sadly no new Transformers stuff, but interesting enough they have a bunch of S.H. Figuarts on a shelf set up with the alarm devices AND locked on the hangers like they were expensive electronics. Guess people must steal them or something?

Picked up one of these, and it rang up at $39.70. Not bad for a Leader these days.

Decided to just wait for my Arcee from TRU. Hopefully they come through.
