Sorry, yeah... There was 1 voyager Grimlock, 2 dlx Bee's, 1 dlx Berserker, and 1 dlx Slash...these were the boxed "premiere series". There was a peg full of legends class, a row of 2 steps turbo changers, an expensive Optimus Prime helmet. There was one dlx Barricade, but I bought it.
x3 Broadsides @ OldSchool Woodbury Target yesterday late AM. Tuesday Morning had nothing of interest. Missed that store. Went to Denny's this morning and had a nice omelette.
Spotted a lone broadside IGH target This afternoon. Desperately seeking Wave 4 deluxes. Where are they already??
Well, the Barricade I bought was $19.99. That's ridiculous for a deluxe, but I am under the impression that that's going to be the standard price for these things going forward...at first anyways...don't they always start out expensive and then get cut after a month or two? I'm not happy with $20 deluxe figures...and Barricade isn't anything to write home to momma about, but I'm a huge Barricade fan, and it's the only figure in this entire assortment that I had any interest in... Speaking of expensive deluxe figures, I ordered Topspin from Toy Dojo last week when they got re-stocked...$17.99 wasn't a terrible price, but then they jammed it in and twisted with $10 shipping... I don't even care though...Topspin is the only one I want from that wave, and I'm not going to run all over creation trying to hunt one down.
That jet is going to be part of a future Flywheels and that tank will return in Battletrap. No doubt.
Ordered my set. Cost me $100 shipped, but still better than cost + tax at stupid Walgreens. Now watch, these will be everywhere and Target will cut the price to $10 each.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll carry Topspin forward and sell him along with Windblade and Twintwist in Wave 5 so if you're hunting Wreckers it'll make it easier to find both together.
Ridgedale TRU, Ridgedale Target, and Plymouth (Rockford Rd) Target have nothing new It even appears that TRU either completely sold out of their TLK stuff or pulled it off the shelf since they had previously stocked it before release day, as there was zero movie toys on the shelf and no spots for them.
At least at Ridgedale, the Deluxes were really tucked down on the bottom shelf. It took me about a minute staring at the magic eye painting until I finally saw the sailboat.
Today's the day, right? Happy Hunting! I'll hit Bloomington target up before work. Not expecting to find much, but you never know! As an aside, I'm kinda torn on Sky Shadow. I feel like they could have done more w/the jet cockpit in bot mode and the arms in base mode. It's not that he's bad, it's that he feels like he maybe needed to cook a little longer. That said, what is there is pretty good, and I'm having fun w/him. I think the tank transformation works especially well to still give him two great legs w/out having them just snap off at the hips like Overlord. The biggest quibble I have is that the little grey handle on the jet/gun part keeps coming off any time I plug it into anything. ><
