Thanks to everyone that showed up to another super fun FrankieCon! Special thanks to those of you that ran a table and helped with clean up. Congrats to Harold on his big Trypticon Race win! We had about 350 people attend - a new record!

Scroll through the recent posts on the FrankieCon FB page for pics! FrankieCon | Facebook

PS - Frankie's has given us permission to use both the main dining room AND the back party room for FrankieCon 5, which will probably be planned for September!

At least there are more Soundwaves out in the wild for the non-collectors that haven't had them for months already?

Just in time to drown out all of the Sixshot and Sky Shadow that distributors can't get out to online retailers.*

*Is still waiting for his pre-order to be filled...

Man, my Sixshot, Voyager OP, and Voyager Megs are all in Stack Limbo waiting for something--ANYTHING--else to come out, so I get that feel, especially walking past Megs and OP as frequently as they turn up now.

I'm pretty sure if I see a Six Shot *and* Prime in any day now I'm buying them both and just demanding my money back from the pre-order. I know distribution has been garbage but this is getting re-damn-diculous.

These are hard to find too? I'm probably to far out to be real help... But, if I see one I mention it.

No luck whatsoever. Yesterday, I hit every Walgreens from Minneapolis to Ramsey. There are still a LOT of Brainstorms out there, as well as Wave 1-2 deluxes warming pegs at various Walgreens. The Anoka Walgreens, where someone previously found them, had zero deluxes. So you might want to check them out and see if they restock any time soon.

Can someone explain to me what exactly is the huge issue with distribution for CW and TR? What's causing it? On whose end is it?

It's weird, right? We seem to be a very active geographic area for collectors and purchasing yet every flipping Target and Walmart I've been to, for weeks, has had bare shelves. Even the new Optimuses, Megatrons, and Sixshots are completely dried up in my AO.

That appears to be true, and I don't want to detract from that, but this appears to be broader to me. Even the online stores don't have these toys in stock. That hints at a bigger issue. Maybe Chinese New Year messed with distribution for a bit?

Very possible, Most likely is many of the companies distributions are all wacked out... Hasbro's, Targets...and Wal-marts.. all aren't working together... Or, their picking a day to release everything and suffocate use with product later this fall since stuff sells no matter what it is then... To bad that's after this summer is done.... But I got no idea really...

Seeing as most online stores don't even have pre-orders for product like Sky Shadow and the newest deluxe wave...I bet Hasbro hasn't even made many official solicitations to retailers. Supply problem at a factory level, maybe?
