so with Powerglide as an Ultra, Seaspray as a Voyager, and many others recieving Deluxe Treatments, what other Minibots should get the upsizing treatment? I think Cosmos and Warpth should get really big treatments, Windcharger at least as a Deluxe and im hoping that we can get a repaint of the PCC Huffer as Pipes, though i dunno if he's a Minibot or not. also, has there been a bigger Beachcomber yet? what are your hopes for the Minibots as they grow up?
Personally, I'm hoping they give nicely sized upgrades to Warpath and Cosmos. Warpath would make for a nice Voyager, and Cosmos could be done decently as a Deluxe. Also wouldn't be all that hard to repaint Warpath as a Decepticon tank-bot.
just remembered-Beachcomber is scout repaint... better than nothing, i suppose, but id still love to see him as a deluxe. and as weird as it wouldbe, an Ultra Cosmos would be a blast, if not somewhat strange... just having a giant flying saucer would be fun
What I'd hope for: Deluxe: Brawn/Outback Gears/Swerve Huffer/Pipes Windcharger/Tailgate Beachcomber Wheelie Voyager: Warpath Ultra: Cosmos
would have to package Cosmos in Robot mode though, to get the biggest possible circumference out of the at mode
I guess I'm the minority. I like the Mini-bots as legends size characters. Universe 2.0 Beachcomber, Brawn, Cosmos, Wheelie and Warpath were some of the highlights of that line for me. I'd LOVE to see more mini-bots get their own legends mold.
I find it kinda stupid. I don't mind Minibot homages in deluxe, scout, or legends class, but there are definitely more worthy characters to devote larger molds to. Remember, there are limitations on how many voyager, ultra, leader and supreme class molds the market will bear in a year. In a world where Galvatron gets the deluxe treatment, minbots should know their place.
Cosmos deserves a decent-sized figure. That Legends-sized figure was nice but a Voyager/Ultra modelled along the lines of the cancelled titanium would be perfect.
Well, still wishing there would be a Deluxe VW Classic Beetle Bumblebee... And a Human Alliance one with Spike would really be awesome!
I agree, the rest of the Mini-bots should be given Legends molds, other G1 characters I would like to have Legends versions are: - Arcee - Blurr - Kup - Wreckgar
Supreme class Cosmos would be truely epic due to its enormos size, though i fear we wouldnt get a decent transformation, given how simplistic most Supreme transformation can be. loved PG's transformation, would love to see that kind of detail and wackiness in both Cosmos and Warpath. go Ultra and Voager!
I LOVED the legends Minibots they were some of my absolute favorite figures in the universe line. I usually don't care about the legend size stuff, but for doing minibots thats my #1 preference. Plus from a display standpoint fitting minibots onto my shelf is much easier than like putting 9 voyagers on there. I';d also like to see rumble and frenzy done in this format... While i wouldn't mind getting bigger versions of someone like cosmos i think it'd make a cool figure but.. with the limited amount of time with the line i feel theres more important unmade things to make.
