Picked this up today from a KO store and have been surprisingly impressed by the quality. Head doesn't transform, but the rest of the figure does ... quite accurately.

I'll post up some pictures (or even a video) later ... anyone else have this guy? He's about the size of a deluxe. The only gripe I have is the tower pieces ... when you snap them together it takes 3 grown men to separate them and a lot of praying that you don't break the peg that holds them together.

Never seen it but I'm interested. Does he look like the Japanese Fortress Maximus Jr?

It actually looks better than a Fort Max Jr!

I've had it for awhile and really like the little thing. The base mode sits well among Micromasters.
Although the plastic is a bit thin, and the head doesn't transform as said earlier, it was a really well-spent $8.

I have it, and think it's great. I think of it as comic-book size version Fort Max. Reprolabels makes (or at least used to) a great set of replacement stickers for those paper stickers it comes with.

I've got a Fortress Minimus! Probably the neatest KO I've ever picked up alongside the WST-sized combiners. Made a few minor mods - carved a hole in the ramp piece so it can actually fit over the peg for the big head, sanded some pegs; tightened the screws on the tower and loosened the ones on the legs to avoid breakage, and he's been pretty solid since.

@Wyvern - Not familiar with FM Junior, but it's basically G1 colors with (oddly) Brave Max's green cockpit door.

Thought strikes me, to any who have a stray headmaster of any variety sitting around - how does a regular HM head mode compare to Fort Min's head? Wondering if a regular headmaster could be swapped in with a little modding and/or Lego....

I've wanted one for a while but haven't seen one anywhere. Where to buy? Only one on eBay and it's in HK - shipping is insane. :(

@ Chinatowns near New York City, they have those for about 5 bucks. Along with Superion, Six Train, Six Builder, Defensor, etc etc.

...I don't think I'll be going to NYC just to get a $5 KO.

    Anybody got one for sale?

Check Tuesday Morning too, if you have one nearby. That's where I picked mine up from :D  It was $5, as was mini Bruticus and mini Devastator. Only WST I have is Megs (sad, I know) but they all hang out on the same shelf in my cabinet. I didn't know that reprolabels MADE stickers for him though! I'll have to take a look...

I bought one off eBay a while back, I think KOtoys has them sometimes. Yes, it's a great little alternative to the real thing, both cost wise and shelf space wise.

Just saw this out with the kids this morning at Tuesday Morning for $4.99. Was sooo tempted but wanted to read the reviews first. I sold all my WST and have a Brave Max, so not really sure where I'd put him if I got him...

this is the one i have. and below a comparison with a deluxe WFC Megatron and a Voyager Lugnut:

sorry about the QC on the pics- i rushed this.

but you can see how big it is.
his only problem *with me* is that his waist cannons are a bit floppy as well as the white parts that fold back along his waist. but i think i can remedy that in a few minutes with some nail polish.

i really like this. for less than $10 i am happy.
