Cliffjumper's jump-into-it attitude taking the initiative to go with Hound with a bazooka in episode one makes him my favorite. Red is an aggressive color.
Cliffjumper gets on my nerves. He was always accusing Mirage of being a Decepticon, when Mirage stopped the Cons from returning to Cybertron.
Back in the day it would have been either Bumblebee or Windcharger, since those were the toys I had. I liked Windcharger because he seemed quiet yet competent (he even saved the day in A Prime Problem), and Bumblebee, well, he was in just about every episode and was practically in on everything. But these days it's all about Gears. I never understood him as a kid, all that complaining about his pulleys and joints and aches and pains. But now I'm over 30. And suddenly Gears makes perfect sense. Preach on, Brother Gears.
Brawn is forthright, straight-up, and tough. He also shot Megatron with his own cannon. Heck, he's even awesome in the IDW books and he has yet to do much. - Coeloptera
I've always had a soft spot for Brawn. He is my only original TF that I have from my first batch when I was a 6-year-old. Loved him in the Generation 1 cartoon and I'm so happy he finally got a great figure with the Movieverse that now stands with my Classics.
The traitor-accusing was in the episode "Traitor". The Mirage-stopping-the-Cons-from-returning-to-Cybertron-ing was in "More than Meets the Mey, part 3". Mirage turned invisible, snuck aboard the 'Con's ship and blasted the shit out of the controls, sending then crashing into the ocean. And I vote for Brawn. He's mini-Ironhide with the strength of ten Ironhides. Though I'd like to see him top Optimus lifting a friggin' oil tanker and ditching it at Megatron in "A Plague Of Insecticons".
It was in the G1 cartoon but I can't remember which episode. Dammit, and I just saw the damn episode and cannot recall the name. Brawn got the cannon, held it like a bazooka, and blasted Megatron in the gut. The recoil knocked Brawn off his feet.
I must've missed this episode because I thought "Traitor" was a 2-part G.I. Joe story starring Dusty.
So it is (God bless Google)! Nothing much to the TF episode: Mirage seems to have betrayed the Autobots, Cliffjumper gets all pissed, turns out Mirage is innocent, Insecticons are involved, and it all ends with CJ and Mirage rolling around hugging and laughing. Weird.
Brawn is brave to run into a Megatron gun blast in the movie... err, was brave. He only had an intelligence of 3 though right?
now it's bumblebee for nostalgic reasons, but as a kid it was brawn. I loved him for taking out the decepticons on cybertron with a girder.
