I loved the fold out of the Batcave... I also lol'd at the part where he makes Superman his errand boy bitch...
A major step up from the last issue. After having 90% of issue #3 devoted to Black Canary's ass, I was afraid that the book was going downhill. But no, the quality is back up to the awful, yet unintentionally hilarious level of the first two issues.
"Damn! Damn!" Seriously, though, THIS should have been issue #3. This most recent comic definitely restores my faith in ASB.
Is Batman still calling kids who he just kidnapped after their parents were murdered before his eye, ******ed? And does he still get a hard-on when he kills cops?
This issue was hilarious, but I loved it. Batman wanted Robin to eat Bats and Rats on his first night at the cave. What a dick. And why is Superman running accross the ocean, wouldn't it be quicker to fly?
I enjoyed it but I'm abit not used to this new batman. He seems like a big psycho fanboy - especially when he was cheesed off that Dick Greyson wasn't exactly impressed by the Batcave!
Yeah, with the dialogue preceding it going like this: DICK: When are you going to let me out of this thing? It feels like it's been days! BATMAN: Shut up. Really.
Last month's issue of WIZARD had a short interview with Jim Lee re: the Millerized All-Star Goddamn JLA. Lee indicated this about the Superman in All-Star Goddamn Batman: Around the late 1930's (maybe some part of the early 40's as well?), Superman didn't have his flight powers yet. And considering the first appearance of Robin is from around 1940 with Batman lightening up as a result...
I haven't read the issue, but this made me laugh and want to read it. http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/reviews/114796977886501.htm
