I plan to watch this, and I hope he does well. What I think will happen is a different story though..............

 

I can't believe how many tattoos this dood has gotten. He's nearly covered. Last I saw of him a year or so ago I couldn't remember seeing any on him. If he's spent near as much time under a needle as he is training for MMA, he'll be fine. (Overexaggeration intended)

Good God, he's morphed into a MMA fighter "with attitude!"

And yeah, he looks completely different from what he normally looked like. Now he's ripped, tattooed, and honestly looks like he could break you in two.

I wish him the best of luck. He's more than put in the dedication and effort to deserve a great MMA run. Hopefully.

IF things don't work out, then yeah it would be no surprise if the media then makes him into a joke, but I hope he can at least not let something like that bother him and will have something to fall back on like more Power Rangers, other acting, more competing, or his joy of teaching Martial Arts to people.

Better(or worse) yet, if his opponent kicks his ass while yelling out "hiya!" and "eh-yah!" every time he makes a blow on Jason.

And then says "To the fall of Zordon and the destruction of the Power Rangers, Ha ha ha ha ha!" when Jason is down on the mat.

Oh, and taunts him in the ring by pretending to play the Dagger Flute.

Hmm..I wonder if that would piss him off or make him piss himself with laughter.

Either way, as much as I'm hoping he is successful in MMA, my gut is strongly saying that this can't end well.

Just have to wait and see how things pan out.

 

He looks fucking crazy. Go Go Green Ranger, I know I would pay to see him fight, even if its to see him get his ass kicked.

 

Either way it ends (he wins, he loses) it will be good entertainment for us all.

But I'd rather get more enjoyment out of seeing him have a long successful run than just instantly crash and burn into failure.

Man, it'd be weird now if he does eventually cameo back in Power Rangers, all ripped and tattooed. I wonder how they'd handle that in the story. Maybe him training harder to keep up with more powerful monsters. Be neat if he had a new suit that reflected his new look with tattoos and armored gauntlets & boots.

 

Well good luck to him. I liked the Green Ranger so if I see his first fight I'll be picturing the White Ranger in there getting twisted like a pretzel.

 

I would pay to see that.

will his opponents fall down and explode after he defeats them or will they grow ten stories high from the mat's view?
